Wily & Right no Rock Board: That's Paradise is essentially Capcom's answer to Fortune Street. Strangely, Mega Man himself isn't playable.

An international release was planned as "Mega Board", but canceled due to Capcom USA deciding to focus their efforts on the SNES. It was also planned to be unlockable in Mega Man Legacy Collection, but got dropped from there as well. A Game Boy version was also scrapped, but eventually uncovered in September 2020.

Acactussayswhat?
Please elaborate.
Having more detail is always a good thing.
Specifically: Add citations about the alleged US and Legacy Collection releases, preferably with screen captures from reputable sources.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Maybe move the info on the planned US release to the Prerelease page?
  • Compare this with the recently-uncovered Game Boy prototype.

Unused Graphics

RockBoardCard.png

An unused design for the Boss Cards, using the same design as the boss transformation spaces. Curiously, this one is stored alongside the other types of cards, while the used ones are stored at the very end of the ROM. It's possible that Boss Cards were originally meant to use a single design for all cards, like the Eddie, Reggae, and Rush cards, rather than unique ones for each card.

RockBoardDrillMan.png

Unused graphics for Drill Man located among the Boss Card effects. No code or palette data remains of him, so his Mega Man 4 palette is used here. He would supposedly dig something up for the player.

RockBoardDrillManGold.png

...perhaps this gold bar located alongside his graphics? There's even a nice little dust sprite based on the one he produces in his source game.

RockBoardQuickMan.png

Graphics for Quick Man are included with the boss transformations. Unlike the other boss transformations, he has no walking sprites, so his movement would've presumably have involved jumping. Again, no palette, so he uses his Mega Man 2 one here.

Neither Drill Man or Quick Man have Boss Card graphics, suggesting they may have been cut before Boss Cards received unique graphics.

Unused Music

A short little track that was supposed to be used to comment on the winner after the game was over. The Game Boy version uses this track on a similar screen.
