Unused Graphics
What is Love?
An early background graphic for the song What is Love? can be found starting from offset 0x14823800 (US) / 0x1468A000 (EU), labeled as what_bk360.tga.
Ultramix 4 Leftover
MAKE IT BETTER SO REAL MIX's unused graphics from the Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4 data are still here. They can be found labeled as howt_th.dds/less_th.dds (banner) and howt_bk.dds/less_bk.dds (background).
Unused Chart
The song Breathing More has proper Single Beginner chart data in its steps file, brea_all.ssq. However, it is completely ignored; the game instead opts to use an automatically generated, trimmed down version of its Single Basic chart. It's worth noting that this unused Single Beginner chart contains 9 notes placed after the song ends (measure 53); this might be the reason why the game ignores it. The chart can be downloaded below:

Unseen Ratings
All songs' .ssq files list ratings for Beginner charts, though they are not seen by normal means. In all cases, these values are set to 1, save for the Double Beginner chart of the song Hey!, which has the value 2.
Unused Text
Three early songlist files can be found within the game's data; one of them, unlock_list_univ2_E3.txt, can be found in both versions of the game, while the other two can only be found in the American release of the game, and have the same names as the songlist files that would be used by the European version (songlist_univ2_EU.txt and songlist_univ2_lite_EU.txt).

When comparing these songlist files to the ones used by the final game, one may notice eight song IDs which are never actually seen. They are, in alphabetical order: dmy0
, dmy2
, dmy5
, etos
, lest
, oola
, wait
and wonc
. Of these eight IDs, three of them would be used in the next game; etos
(EtoSharu), lest
(Less Than Three (Ricardo Autobahn Remix)) and wait
(Waiting For You). One may also notice the presence of two base game songs being listed as downloadable content, those being brea
(Breathing More) and elfa
(Elfadiciell).
