Another specially-designed version of Dance Dance Revolution which combines panel-stomping and voice cracking. Some of the songs that could be selected were seen in previous DDR installments; they use their previous charts rather than auto-generated ones.

Early Solo Bass Mix Graphics

As with the first Karaoke MIX game, the main file repository, GQ947JAA.DAT, contains several unreferenced files, some of which are leftovers from an early version of Dance Dance Revolution Solo Bass Mix, which include a different title screen.

Oddity

Upon extraction of the game's filesystem, it's notable that two folders contain stepchart data, mdb and sdb. While the former contains compressed stepcharts for a select few previous DDR songs should they be chosen to play, the latter contains unmodified step data for a large number of songs from Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMIX's Japanese and Asian releases, including that of two unused songs (BEATS LIKE THIS and CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU (70's Remix)). Interestingly, the contents of this folder are called by the game, and are used for generating the random charts.
