Debug Menu

Hold L + R and press Start at the title screen to access a debug menu that contains a cutscene viewer (Gaia list), a slightly buggy sound test, and an option to view the game's ending.

The sound test menu looks glitchy because menu items in the original Japanese version occupied two rows each, and the cursor and track numbers still use the old row positions. This is how it looks when everything is laid out as intended:

Unused Graphics

SimEarth Water Ground Biomes and Disasters.png

A cat head (a Tomcat System logo?) is hidden in the tileset for Daisy World biomes. Given where it appears, it's probably just a placeholder, since there are only seven daisy types, and the disaster icons need to appear on the next row of eight 16×16 tiles.

Unused Music

These three tracks can be found from within the sound test in the debug menu.

A continuous music loop, purpose unknown.
