Krup
Alys's condition has turned for the worse, and Rune and the others are powerless. She says her final words to Rune and Chaz and, surrounded by the people closest to her, quietly passes on.
Late at night, after the burial, Chaz confides to Rune that while the hunter business is lucrative, with Alys gone, he doesn't know what to fight for except for avenging her death. Rune questions if he thinks she was only fighting for money, and if fighting technique is the only thing Chaz learned from her, before leaving to let him ruminate on that.
A bit later, Rika tells Chaz that she's glad she was able to leave the Bio-plant; That even though Seed taught her about all kinds of things, it's different from experiencing them: Like the smell of the ocean, the bustling of a town, and the warmth of people. Chaz comforts and thanks her in turn.
The next day, at Alys's resting place...

Zio once again summons Dark Force, but the Psycho Wand is able to dispel the invincible barrier, making his defeat inevitable. He cries out for Dark Force, but its only response is silence. Zio is totally destroyed, and Chaz and Gryz are jubilant.
