A demo disc that's hours of fun - before you've finished reading the title!

Unused Gladius Demo

Look how polished it is!
...Maybe it's not quite finished.

In reporting before the disc's release, news outlets indicated that it would include a playable demo of Gladius,[1] but on release the disc only featured a trailer. In actuality, the demo was fully prepared in playable form and included on the US disc, along with all associated media like screenshots and a button guide in the demo disc's interface. All of this goes completely unused, as the demo is not listed in the contents file which populates the menu. This GameCube demo was never released anywhere else, so this disc is the only place you can (or can't) play it.

The Gecko code below replaces the Gladius trailer with the unused demo:

Regional Differences

The US and European versions of the disc have quite different menu layouts.

US Europe
The menu covers up that X-Wing like a dewback in Mos Eisley. Now that's a sight for defrosted eyes.

They also removed the unused Gladius demo from the European disc, but that's harder to show in a screenshot.
