Angry Birds H̶a̶t̶c̶h̶e̶r̶y Island is an unreleased iOS game based on an early version of the 2.0.0 Angry Birds engine (supposedly developed around 2011-12). It was found on December 17, 2023 as part of the massive leak known as "TestFlight Teraleak".

Gameplay

The game consists of two modes, one, called "Hatchery", in which the player is able to breed, raise and comply the needs of their inbred hatchlings that can be spawned using an egg on an isometric map, or select them to be played in-game (only the first 21 levels of Poached Egg, are in this build).

The build found in the leak is missing the selection part, using 5 temporary birds as placeholders (the birds seen on the loading screen), although leak data suggests there was a lost updated build of the game containing a working selection menu.

The game is the building blocks for what would become Rovio's The Croods.

Playable Birds

Senor Redshank : Breed of the blue bird and bomb bird, explodes on contact and creates explosive clones once tapped.

Lady Grant : Breed of the yellow bird and blue bird, boosts up and is strong against glass.

Headshot : Breed of the blue bird and yellow bird, creates speedy clones if triggered.

Missy Golecrest : Breed of the bomb bird and yellow bird (aka Crap Bird internally), flies incoherently and deals little damage.

Reporter : Breed of the egg bird and the bomb bird, explodes on hit and shoots an egg if clicked.
