Regional Differences

The game received a different name for the European and Japanese release. In the US and European versions, Spyro hovers next to the logo whilst Sparx circles around it. In the Japanese version, the screen fades black and shows the Japanese logo straight after the developer screen, with no sight of either of them.

The text is pink/purple in Japanese versions, while white in all other versions.

In the Japanese version, purple is also used for the counters, with a different font as well.

The credits in the European version use the Spyro Fusion logo (which strangely lacks the ™ symbol despite having it present in the title screen), and the US credits use the Spyro Orange logo. The Japanese version, however, uses the US Orange logo instead of the Wakuwaku logo. Also, the font color was changed to magenta with a purple outline.
