Just Dance Wii is the first in the Japanese spinoff series to Just Dance, featuring J-pop songs.

Unused Graphics

Some icons used in Just Dance 2 DLC shop went unused as Just Dance Wii doesn't have an in-game shop.

Unused Text

Just Dance Wii has unused English, French and Spanish translations leftover from Just Dance 2. They can be accessed by forcing the game to launch in one of those languages. Most of the Japanese exclusive lines such as fast-forwarding the credits and unlocking Mario song are translated as well. Inside these files include a list of songs in the game, with some songs not being featured in the game. The following songs are unused:

Joyful by Ikimonogakari (reused for the sequel, albeit a cover)
Gee by Girls Generation
GOLDFINGER 99' by Hiromi Go
Venus by Takki & Tsubasa
Aitakatta by AKB48
Pop Star by Ken Hirai (reused for the sequel, albeit a cover)
Mr. Taxi by Girls Generation
Everyday Katyusha by AKB48

Regional Differences

The Hit Crew - Toxic

Originally featured in Just Dance 2, the background for this song was changed in this game. All radioactive symbols were changed into warning signs, the woman's clothing was made less saturated, and the inner area with the warning signs is now taller and more saturated than the original. This is likely due to the 2011 Tohoku earthquake that happened earlier in that year.
