This page or section needs more audio.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough audio. Please fix this.

Codename

The game was originally supposed to be called "We Dance", as proven by several folders in the game archives.[1]

Unused Songs

Found in the game files are four audio files, each for a song that went unused in-game:

  • Music_0x000007d4.pk: Soul Bossa Nova - Quincy Jones and His Orchestra
  • Music_0x00000014.pk: Jungle Boogie - Kool & The Gang
  • Music_0x0000091c.pk: Shake - Sam Cooke
  • Music_0x00000910.pk: Land Of 1000 Dances - Chris Kenner

Jungle Boogie & Soul Bossa Nova were both included in the next game, Just Dance 2, but a cover by Studio Musicians was used in the case of Jungle Boogie. In Just Dance 3, the Wilson Pickett version of Land of 1000 Dances ended up being used as a track in-game.

Unused Audio

Found in "0x0d0ba66b.pk" at "0x0d0ba66b#41" is a preview of "Warm Up" by Crispy Duck. Since the song isn't featured in the song selection screen, this audio goes unused.
