So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

The 2020 Doom 64 brings the 1997 cult-classic onto modern systems with vast improvements and the new Lost Levels campaign. The game was released alongside Doom Eternal as a preorder bonus.

Because the remaster was largely based on the work of the fan-made port Doom64 EX (which worked by extracting assets from the original ROM file), much of the unused content from the original is still in here.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Check for any test maps (which are staples of Night Dive remasters) or other unused content exclusive to the remastered edition.
  • Unused text strings found in the the 2021 remaster of Quake also exist here.

Like the rest of the classic Doom games that got rereleased on consoles (excluding the original Xbox port, where the Medikit, Stimpack, and Berserk powerup graphics were untouched) and console storefronts, in the 2020 port, the red crosses on the Medikit, Stimpack, and Berserk power-up graphics were replaced with blue crosses outlined with a lighter color with a small dot in the middle.
