Half-Life 2: Survivor
Half-Life 2: Survivor |

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article? |
Half-Life 2: Survivor is an all-but-obscure arcade game that's an FPS stuffed into a flight cabinet, making it a rather strange experience for those familiar with the PC or console versions of the game.
This page sucks. If you could make it suck less, that would be awesome. Specifically: This whole page needs a rewrite + Gordon Freeman's face can be seen during those obnoxious tutorials. |
Unused Levels
There's about 90, all revisions of the Battle Mode maps. These can be found if you remove the "-ac" parameter.
Unused Graphics
Present in materials\ac2d\card_promotion_battle. This folder contains a series of screenshots and icons, some of which make it evident that the game was to be created with an official PC port, rather than the unofficial one we have now.
As well as this, there is a photo of what appears to be someone with their arm extending towards a PC with the game running on it.
Unused Weapons
Present in the game's files are a few unused weapons, some of which are functional.
- "weapon_molotov" - Appears to have a grenade model, most likely a placeholder. Note that once you select another weapon, you can't re-select the Molotov.
- "weapon_manhack" - Can also be holstered, but has no view model, world model, or sounds. It also deals no damage.
Unused Sounds
Present in the sounds folder is a subfolder called Vehicles, which only contains two sounds.
digger_startengine1.wav
digger_stopengine1.wav
These files may have been used for a vehicle shown in early gameplay. In Half-Life 2, this is the sound used when getting in and out of the crane.
