WipEout Omega Collection is the series' debut on PS4, and it is a remaster, containing all of the tracks from WipEout HD and WipEout 2048. All of this in full 1080p or 4K and with PlayStation VR support to boot.

Unused Audio

  • The game's files have all of the unused audio from WipEout HD and WipEout 2048.

Tigron and Van Uber oddity

The digital artbook for the game has images that show that the Van Uber ship was originally a Tigron ship, with black and gold details.

  • Pure Racing mode was added to online multiplayer.
  • Added support for Turkish language.
  • Bug fixes.

  • Fixed leaderboard bugs.
  • Modified UI hiding behavior for the Photo Mode.
  • Fixed the health indicator for the HD zone ship.
  • Bug fixes.

  • Support for PlayStation VR was added, along with VR-exclusive ships.
  • Added support for 3D audio while using PlayStation VR.
  • New music tracks were added: "Shake It" by Addiktion, and a Vieille Griffe remix of "Shake It".
  • Medals were added that can be won in racing online.

  • Miscellaneous bug fixes.

  • Fixed a bug related to unlocking VR-exclusive ships during non-VR gameplay.
  • Fixed a bug related to image supersampling.
  • Adjusted the zoom in on the track models in the menu for 2048.

  • Fixes a left eye flickering issue in VR that occurs in the online lobby.
  • Fixes a translation error in Dutch.

  • Fixed a bug related to barrel rolls not always happening.
  • Shortened delay for activating barrel rolls.
  • Fixed an issue where ships from Wipeout 2048 were usable on Wipeout HD/Fury tracks.
