Unseen Geo

This is all of the geometry in this game that is used, but normally unseen in-game!

Backgrounds

cavenormal

The background used for most of the cave sections in Cookie Country, internally named cavenormal, has a bunch of fully modeled rings that are never seen in-game.

empty

Self explanatory, also yes, there literally is a background in this game named "empty" that is straight up empty. The background, however is used in the interiors of the Lor Starcutter such as the Copy Ability Rooms, but said background however, is completely unseen in-game due to the tileset for the interiors of the Lor Starcutter, internally named ship completely obscuring the background at all times!

Interestingly, the model for the background used for the Final Rest Area in the True Arena, internally named lowper, has a hidden skybox found in it, along with some other effects not normally seen in-game. These seem to be leftovers from an area shown in a screenshot for the cancelled Kirby for Nintendo GameCube, which seems to imply that this background was based on the stage model used for said area.

Meta Knight and Galacta Knight

Meta Knight and Galacta Knight have modeled faces without their masks; those goes unseen as in this game, they never take off their masks, and clearly were never intended to!

Puppet Waddle Dee

The Waddle Dee models inside Puppet Waddle Dee's model have mostly modeled faces, which as only mostly their legs are even seen in-game, goes unseen.

Armor Waddle Dee and Armor Halcandle Dee

The models used for the Armor Waddle Dee and Armor Halcandle Dee enemies have partial models of Waddle Dees and Halcandle Waddle Dee's inside them, which mostly only their legs are ever seen in-game. The textures for the Waddle Dees and Halcandle Dees in their models additionally, are also different from the ones used in their enemy models, with Waddle Dee's having a dark gradient, and Halcandle Dee's being of a lower resolution than the ones used for the enemy model.

Volttzo

Found in DATA/files/g3d/step/weapon/volttzo/Bomb.brres.cmp, Volttzo has an unseen model for their projectile akin to the one used for Gigatzo, but instead green with yellow stars. The modeled version of their projectile is technically used in-game, but the visibility is simply just turned off, although with tools, the visibility of the projectile model can be turned on in-game.

Unused Boss Textures

HR-D3

Textures for King Dedede and a Warp Star are included in HR-D3. King Dedede's texture sheet here is incompatible with his actual model, although his eye textures are identical to those used in Kirby Air Ride. Interestingly, this seems to indicate that his Air Ride model was either used as a basis for, or was reworked from, his model from the GameCube era of development, as the body texture sheet is incompatible with his Air Ride model. Since HR-D3 is based on Dedede Robo from said cancelled game, where it was piloted by King Dedede, this is almost certainly a leftover from that model. The presence of a Warp Star texture also seems to corroborate this, as a Warp Star could be seen inside Dedede Robo in footage of the game.

Whispy Woods and Goriath

Similarly, Whispy Woods and Goriath have sets of unused textures that differ heavily from their final designs. Whispy's foliage textures greatly resemble the art style used in the "pop-up book" era of the game's development, while Goriath's simply refer to him as "GTamarin" and depict him with red and purple fur, as well as teal facial markings. Unlike the body and face textures, there isn't an unused variant for Goriath's hair textures, which like the used textures, refer him as "Goliath" instead. Whispy's body textures are also not compatible with the final model, but his leaf textures are. Additionally, the unused textures are also found in their EX models as well.

Galacta Knight

Galacta Knight also appears to have textures for closing his eyes, which end up going unused in-game as when he breaks out of the crystal, which is the only time where he doesn't open his eyes, his eyes instead fade quickly from black when he reveals them.

In the Japanese and Korean versions of the game, during the tutorial, a red circle will appear whenever an action is properly completed. In the American and European versions, a green check mark will appear instead. This is likely because tests in Japanese schools have circles represent correct answers while check marks represent wrong answers, whereas it is the opposite in international schools.

This change is also in Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Kirby: Planet Robobot, Kirby Battle Royale, Kirby Star Allies, and the challenge stages included in Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition.

Each location's name differs from Japanese into other languages. The Japanese and Korean versions in particular have English text underneath the respective Japanese/Korean writing in-game. The Korean version re-uses the English translations from the Japanese version, even if the actual Korean writing is different.

Almost all of the boss names had further alterations from Japanese into other languages. The only exception is HR-D3, whose name is the same in all regional versions. "Mr. Dooter" is parsed "Mr Dooter" in the English version of Kirby's Adventure Wii, which appears to be the only major text difference between the two English versions.

The harder bosses found in Extra Mode and The True Arena are given the "EX" suffix in the Japanese, English, French, Latin American Spanish and Korean localizations, the "X" suffix in the German and Italian versions and the "+" suffix in the European Spanish localizations.

The name of the Scope Shot sub-game and its exclusive enemies were changed as well.

1-Ups

Like with the games Kirby: Canvas Curse, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Kirby: Planet Robobot and Kirby Star Allies, the models for the 1-Ups for the Main and Extra modes change depending on what language the player set the Wii to. There however seems to be a difference between the lighting and the shading of some of the models.
