Super Yoshi no Tamago is a remake of the puzzle game Yoshi no Tamago, better known outside of Japan as Yoshi or Mario & Yoshi. The game was originally developed for the Super Famicom in 1995, but was never released. An unfinished port for the Nintendo DS is part of some early revisions of Pokémon Black and White's source repository, and was likely used for testing multi-boot functions.

Oddly, the game's title screen as-is appears graphically corrupt. Disabling the layer BG0 in an emulator makes the screen display correctly.
