Hidden Developer Message
Stored in the memory starting at 95B3 is a message which has one of the programmers complaining about Ocean and Commodore.
CHEAT MODE ACTIVATED. HIGHLANDER LIVES. I WAS ONLY JOKING ABOUT THE CHEAT MODE BACK THERE, THAT WOULD BE MAKING IT JUST A BIT TOO EASY...THIS TEXT IS HERE PURELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE WHO GAIN PLEASURE FROM SNOOPING AROUND OTHER PEOPLES CODE IN THE HOPE OF FINDING SOMETHING INTERESTING OR INCRIMINATING. THANKS MUST BE EXTENDED TO THE MERRY JESTERS AT OCEAN FOR MAKING ME MISS A DAY OF MY HOLIDAY DUE TO A SUPPOSED BUG IN THE TAPE LOADER ( WHICH STRANGELY CURED ITSELF !). ALSO A MILLION HOORAYS TO COMMODORE FOR THEIR INSISTANCE THAT EACH CASSETTE MUST HAVE THE WHOLE GAME ON BOTH SIDES. (SO BLAME THEM FOR THE TAPE COUNTER CRAP, NOT ME). STILL IN SPITE OF THE COMBINED EFFORTS OF THESE GIANTS OF THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY I DID MANAGE TO GET TO BERLIN AT THE WEEKEND TO SEE ROGER WATERS (ET AL) PERFORMING THE WALL AND VERY ENJOYABLE TOO ! SO YOU THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO GO TO THE SHOW ...... I CAN HEAR COMMODORE / OCEAN PHONING TO ASK FOR THIS MASTER (THE LAST ?) SO ENOUGH OF MY RANTINGS......BACK TO THE WORLD OF DREAMS AND REMEMBER:WE'RE ALL IN IT TOGETHER KID.
