Title Screen Cheats

Cheat Mode

Click all 8 doors and windows as shown in the screenshots using the B button to enable cheat mode. The order doesn't matter, although it's easiest to simply go from left to right along the same X plane as the Licensed by Nintendo text. The cheat progress won't reset if a click isn't accurate enough, if you don't get the Cheat Mode cursor shown below when you're done, simply keep clicking all the spots again until you get it (the two spots in the center are the easiest to miss)

This cheat completes all tribes, with the levels finished in 3rd place and 19 lemmings saved in each.

View Credits

Click the spot shown to view the credits. This requires rather precise positioning of the cursor, keep clicking around if you don't get it on the first try.

Hi!

Click on the dot in the letter i and a speech bubble will appear, this will add text when the lemmings talk in game.

Music Test

Lemmings 2 SNES Music Test.png

You can access a music test in the main menu by pointing at the hole in the tree under "LOAD" and pressing B. The cursor will change into the words "Music Test!". You can change the music being played by pressing the B button again. Clicking on any other location will stop the music and make the cursor go back to normal.

Unused Skills

For unknown reasons, two skills were removed from the game. Editing ROM offsets 0xB0698 to 0D and 0xB069A to 1E will make their icons available in the first level of the beach tribe. The code for these skills was removed, as trying to assign these skills to a lemming will trigger nothing.

Roller Skier

Unused Music

A completely unused song exists in this version, it's rather repetitive and doesn't have much variety.

This song is used in the intro of the game, but only 12 seconds of this 24 second song can be heard.

Unused Text

They're exactly like in the DOS version.

Super Scope

Hmmm...
To do:
Get screenshots, maybe video.

One of the developers managed to sneak Super Scope support into the game. Using the Super Scope, you can shoot Lemmings and blow them up!
