Unused Graphics

Early Title

tittle.NCGR is an early logo.

Duplicate Title

Flushed Away DS Title5.NCGR.png

Title5.NCGR is a duplicate of the Flushed Away logo. The main thing which is notable about this duplicate is that it is present in all of the game's localisations, despite the logo only being used in English. Title4.NCGR is also an identical duplicate present in the game's localisations (with the exception of the Japanese version).

ssel_obj

ssel_obj.NCGR contains a bunch of unused level select graphics.

fla2d

fla2d.NCGR has an unused "PUSH START" graphic. This graphic is only present in the English versions. The Japanese version has its own "press start" graphic which is used although it uses a completely different design.

Regional differences

Language select (Europe)

Flushed Away Language Select.png Flushed Away Language Select 2.png

Various European releases contain multiple languages, with the game starting up with a language select screen. Shown above is the language select from the French/Spanish version (left) and the Geran/Italian version (right). This language select is not present in the English version's files but interestingly, the German/Italian language select is present in the Japanese version's files.

Title Screen/Main Menu (Japan)

Flushed Away Japanese Title Screen.png

The Japanese version has a title screen not present in the western versions. The "PRESS START" text flashes.

Flushed Away Japanese main menu top screen.png

The top screen on the main menu is a static image in the Japanese version. This means that the "Dreamworks & Aardman" logo does not slide onto the screen. The "Mouse Town" logo also lacks any animation unlike the "Flushed Away" logo in the western versions.
