- Whoops, sorry. I forgot about that rule. I'll make sure not to forget it again. --Super-Xnot (talk) 08:45, 8 January 2018 (EST)
Toadrun, Peteyland, and Toadsworthfall
If I recall correctly, Toadrun is used when Mario returns to Delfino Plaza after he gets a Shine Sorote in Bisnco Hills and before Princess Peach gets kidnapped again, Peteyland is used when Petey Piranha is hit in Bianco Hills Episode 5, and Toadsworthfall is used when you slide on goop to spread it and surround Toadsworth. Actually, I think most of those Toadsworth animations are used near the beginning of the game in Delfino Plaza.--CeilingFan (talk) 20:04, 6 February 2018 (EST)
- I checked each one and none of them are used.--Super-Xnot (talk) 20:11, 6 February 2018 (EST)
- I see. And isn't planereflection the used sky and arrow.bti the "press B to talk" but upside-down or not?--CeilingFan (talk) 20:15, 6 February 2018 (EST)
- planereflection is used on the plane, yes, but you can never see the full texture. And arrow.bti I have no idea what that is, but it's not related to the B icon.--Super-Xnot (talk) 20:19, 6 February 2018 (EST)
- I was going to say it might be the arrows used to show one to ground pound Petey snd Wiggler, and to enter the Dune Bud Sandcastle Secret but then I remembered that's a different arrow. I swear I've seen arrow.bti in game before though. It's not used on like the sign at the entrance of Bianco Hills, right? Actually, now that I think of it, arrow.bti does kinda resemble the "move the C stick" graphics in Luigi's Mansion so maybe that's why it seems familiar.--CeilingFan (talk) 20:36, 6 February 2018 (EST)
- Yeah, all of the arrows used are 3D models. So this one is for sure unused. Also a heads up on the cutscene content, should we make a video or should it just be a section with screenshots pointing out the differences? I'll make the video if we go with that scenario. Also the goop portal movies have differences as well, obviously Gelato beach has the pillars around the column but I noticed that the red ferris wheel shows up in the Ricco harbor one.--Super-Xnot (talk) 20:50, 6 February 2018 (EST)
- I have screenshots of the cutscenes but the resolution is too big. The Sandbird tower pillars are already covered as a side observation in the Regional Differences page and I believe you were alluding to that but the red ferris wheel is only covered in the cutscene section of that page. It also appears in at one prerelease screenshot. I also forgot to mention the game's manual needs some scans as it too has some prerelease screenshots--CeilingFan (talk) 20:59, 6 February 2018 (EST)
- When taking screenshots of the videos, did you use Dolphin (assuming it was you who took the screenshots)? If you use ffmpeg (or vlc or thpplay, but I think ffmpeg is probably the best option) to take a screenshot, it'll be in the native resolution of the video, rather than resized to the Dolphin/GameCube screen size. --Hiccup (talk) 04:53, 7 February 2018 (EST)
- I used Dolphin and forgot to change to the native resolution--CeilingFan (talk) 19:10, 7 February 2018 (EST)

By The Way
Do you happen to have the SMS E3/kiosk demo? If you do then you should check it out. Peardian only looked at a few things and discovered messages.szs is present but blank. However, I suspect the demo may have unused models, graphics, and who knows what else.--CeilingFan (talk) 19:10, 7 February 2018 (EST)
- I have both the English and Japanese demos. To my knowledge, in the Japanese version message.szs actually has its contents and an early blue coin sound is in the soundbanks. I will look for more content.--Super-Xnot (talk) 20:24, 7 February 2018 (EST)
- Oh, and you should join the Discord server linked in the sidebar. I think it'll make discussing things easier.--CeilingFan (talk) 00:16, 9 February 2018 (EST)

How do you know this is an early Shine Sprite sound?
I'm referring to this. --Hiccup (talk) 07:56, 11 February 2018 (EST)
- Yeah, that is a stretch. Sorry about that. Went back and fixed it.--Super-Xnot (talk) 20:44, 11 February 2018 (EST)
