Graphics rips

Please rip graphics from the game rather than taking screenshots of YouTube videos. We prefer graphics to be cleanly ripped. --From: CounterDiving (talk) 14:45, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Image Uploads

Please give descriptive file names to your uploads (e.g. add the game name as a name prefix like GameName-) + tag them instead of writing random letters in the upload summary --ΓBSOD 16:58, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Also, don't upload JPEGs for title screens or for any other thing unless it's found with this format already in the game's files --ΓBSOD 19:43, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
Four months later and you're still not tagging your uploads! And please, do not take JPEG screenshots and then convert them to PNG. The Minecraft Earth title screen you took seemed to have some minor unusual blocky artifacts.
If you're on Android, you can easily change the resolution to a more normal 16:9 aspect ratio and save as PNG using ADB:
adb shell wm size 1080x1920
adb exec-out screencap -p > X:\out\path\screenshot.png
Edness (talk) 09:03, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
On a related note, your title screen images seem to be downsized and blurry and sometimes cropped incorrectly. --From: CounterDiving (talk) 02:17, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Plants vs. Zombies world 6

Please ignore the below, just heard the news about the prototype, I am more confident this level does exist in the final game now

Do you have any proof that this is an unused stage and not simply not just a glitch level, e.g. do you have any data relating to world 6 in the game? Other glitch levels such as World 0 exist (plays similarly to Ice Level), and I can't seem to find anything referencing a 6th world in my decompilation of the Flash port (despite being a demo it still contains a lot of the code ported from the original game that you can't access in-game), which makes me think this simply doesn't exist. Feel free to contact me in the TCRF discord, my username here is the same there.

TolerableDruid6 (talk) 17:08, 8 October 2021 (UTC)

It's alright. I got the info from the PvZ Wiki. It does indeed exist in the final game, and as seen in the Bloom & Doom/December 2008 beta, it was originally a night level with an elevated section of the lawn.

Fan translations

For articles, please use the original title and title screen. We do not use fan translations as a source for the names of games or title screens. --From: CounterDiving (talk) 01:37, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

> Apologies, didn't know it was a fan translation, considering the game is referred to as that so often. --Cutesycookie (talk) 13:17, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

Edit annotations

Not that I have any authority to request this, but I think it would be good if you were more careful about annotating your edits (ie providing something in the explanation box before publishing it). For example, I noticed that you recently moved the entire "Unused graphics" section of the Fnaf VR page into a sub-page, and there's no clear reason for why you did that considering it didn't take up too much of the page. I'm assuming you had a good reason for doing that, so I didn't revert the edit, but it would be very helpful to know for sure. –The9thBit 19 November 2021

APologies, I'll try giving explanations ore often before doing any major edits. Thanks for letting me know. As for the FNaF VR edit, I did personally feel like it was kind of fill up the page, though I can understand why others would assume the contrary. --Cutesycookie (talk) 18:32, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

Inquiry about "The Maze"

Alright, without further ado... where and how the hell did you come across those revisions of The Maze?! As far as I know, those revisions are rather hard to come by on the modern internet and I'm surprised that they're now available!

I REALLY want to know, because I think this information would prove useful for archival projects like Flashpoint. YourElbowGreaseSir (talk) 01:23, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

I got most of the more obscure ones from the Screamer Wiki, the orange one I found on the Internet Archive, and I found the 'Blue version' on Winnarr.com (which also hosts the orange one). --Cutesycookie (talk) 01:31, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Thank you!!! YourElbowGreaseSir (talk) 01:33, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

New Page Templates

Hey there. I know you're just trying to be helpful, but I really need you to talk to the staff before making any new site-wide templates going forward. Thank you. --Rusty (talk) 00:07, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Sorry. --Cutesycookie (talk) 00:09, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
It's fine, we just don't want an overload of colored boxes at the tops of pages when we feel they might not be necessary, or if we feel they could be implemented differently. If you're not already on the Discord server, that is the best place to discuss these things (e.g. in the #suggestions channel). --Rusty (talk) 00:17, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

Pokemon Legends: Arceus page intro

If my intro to the page was too biased because I was making a funny reference/joke about the Angry Video Game Nerd, what about other Pokemon pages that have even reached featured status? What about the intro to Pokémon Yellow or Pokémon Red and Blue? -- Luna (talk) 21:56, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

I changed it because I felt that if someone wasn't in the know, they would've probably thought it was from a bias perspective. The intros for Yellow and Red and Blue are fine because they make clear references that I don't think can be seen in a negative way. --Cutesycookie (talk) 21:59, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
You make a fair point. Sorry if I came off as aggressive about it. I can totally see how someone could read it as biased without the prior knowledge. -- Luna (talk) 03:46, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

Regarding your message

Hi, I responded to the message you left on my talk page a while back, not sure if you saw, just letting you know. TolerableDruid6 (talk) 02:30, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

I saw, just forgot to respond. --Cutesycookie (talk) 12:30, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

Bendy animations

you posted these entries with bendy animations

Reference.png

and I was wondering if you were the one who extracted them and could explain the process of viewing them. I extracted the files with assetStudio but I dont know what to do with the files or how to view them and get them into that gif form
