Hello. Please be sure to follow our image guidelines, especially the naming and size guidelines. --BMF54123 22:11, 24 April 2013 (EDT)

Sorry, I forgot to resize it! I'll try to fix it by tomorrow.
Um...you need to retake screenshots at the proper resolution, not resize them. The character is too tall/narrow now because you resized it from 16:9 to 4:3. :\ --BMF54123 14:11, 28 April 2013 (EDT)

I'll make a new one. For now I won't put on any pages until it's okay.

Thanks. Also, be sure to start your replies with : and end them with --~~~~ so they're properly indented and tagged with your name, as shown here. --BMF54123 14:17, 28 April 2013 (EDT)
I was wondering how you did that, thanks as well. --8SomaCruzes 14:52, 28 April 2013 (EDT)
Alright I've reuploaded the image. Is it okay now? --8SomaCruzes 15:51, 30 April 2013 (EDT)

You're not following our image naming guidelines again... --BMF54123 18:04, 2 May 2013 (EDT)

What's wrong? --8SomaCruzes 18:06, 2 May 2013 (EDT)
You uploaded Skeleton.png and Undead.png. Filenames need to have the game name prefixed to them so there are no future filename conflicts. --BMF54123 18:09, 2 May 2013 (EDT)
Sorry, I make mistakes. Everyone does. Thanks for fixing them for me --8SomaCruzes 18:38, 2 May 2013 (EDT)

Categorizing Images

The images you have uploaded are missing their categories. Please categorize your uploads in the future. Thank you. --From: divingkataetheweirdo 15:50, 7 June 2013 (EDT)

Reuploading Files

I see you're having trouble with our cache because you are continuously uploading the same image. As for all files on the wiki, pressing F5 will update the cache. --Chpexo-sig.pngChpexo 14:11, 24 August 2014 (EDT)

NES Screenshots

Please set your emulator to take screenshots at 256x240, not 256x224. --BMF54123 (talk) 05:24, 25 August 2014 (EDT)

Do plan on changing that setting in FCEUX to allow that. --8SomaCruzes (talk) 17:37, 25 August 2014 (EDT)

Prerelease:New Super Mario Bros.

Do you mind porting over your changes to this version: http://hiccup.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Prerelease:New_Super_Mario_Bros.

It is newer than the TCRF version you added stuff to. --Hiccup (talk) 06:59, 23 November 2014 (EST)

I thought I saw you already added it. If you need me to, I can, but there is some other things left to be fixed. --8SomaCruzes (talk) 13:05, 23 November 2014 (EST)
I would prefer if you ported those changes over to the shoutwiki, did all future changes to the shoutwiki version, and only then port it over every week/month. I mean, we are pretty much the only people who have been editing it recently. --Hiccup (talk) 13:20, 23 November 2014 (EST)

Deltarune

Regarding your reupload of File:Deltarune-spr_doorE.png; it was already at the correct resolution. I presume that you still saw the original version; that's because you have to clear your browser's cache to see the newest version of a file if it's already stored an older version (it's a common mistake, hah). --periaster (talk · contribs) 18:40, 2 November 2018 (EDT)

Pokémon GS SW'99

Hey, thanks a ton for adding the menu sprites on the page! Now regarding the dex entries, I added a template if you wanna add them~ --FrenchOrange (talk) 16:46, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

Not a problem man! I don't have all of 'em written down, but I do have notes of all of the ones that changed. It may be a while before I can get 'em all written up. --8SomaCruzes (talk) 15:47, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

Development: Link's Awakening (Game Boy) Maps

What CGX, COL, and PNL files did you use with the MAP files? --TheRubyGemstone (talk) 20:09, 27 September 2023 (UTC)

Since I actually ripped the maps well over a year ago, I don't remember which PNL files or what graphics files I specifically used. From what I can remember, I was able to just piece it together into a custom PNL file, just using the others in the /m/ folder as a base. Seems like I used hyoji-f.CGX.BAK for the graphics.
I am still planning on rounding it out myself, though. The only thing that's still a mystery to me is why GlitterBerri included the graveyard in the big map, since it's not in the files afaik. :> --8SomaCruzes (talk) 16:18, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

@8SomaCruzes, I went ahead and ripped the MAP files from GBzelda/m and I'm updating your images. You can change them back if you want. I hope I'm not overtaking your work. sorry. --TheRubyGemstone (talk) 22:56, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

@TheRubyGemstone, if you were able to find the correct PNL files for 'em, then that's fine. I think I had some things wrong on mine, since I just built it up from the others. Thanks for for the heads-up. Might revert a few, I dunno. --8SomaCruzes (talk) 04:29, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

@8SomaCruzes, My plan is to list each individual MAP file like I've done on the lower parts of the page. I'll have the title of the file, the image and a description if needed. Example.

1.CGX

Image

Description.

I do like how you've arranged the images to fit together though. My idea is probably a little boring to look at. I like having things consistent. Sorry if I sound rude in any way. -TheRubyGemstone (talk) 05:28, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

@TheRubyGemstone I'd appreciate it if you could keep the descriptions I've written for their respective areas untouched where possible, please. As for formatting/ordering, while I personally would prefer it more if you left it as is, I wouldn't say that your way is necessarily the wrong way, it's just that I feel like an alphabetical breakdown sort of obfuscates the information, and just results in unneeded clutter and duplicate files. Especially since the only stuff I did not include were the post Hyrule-era maps (because those deserve their own subpage), or ones that were uninteresting or had no differences between versions. I'll ask mods to see where they stand in this regard, though, if you don't mind. Thank you. --8SomaCruzes (talk)

@8SomaCruzes I do plan on keeping your descriptions. By the way, are you in the TCRF Discord server? It might be easier to communicate there. I recommend "CloudModding" which is in the "nice servers" channel. -TheRubyGemstone (talk) 17:43, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

@TheRubyGemstone I've not joined the Discord. I'd probably just get overwhelmed with all the messages and just wind up muting 90% of 'em, so I never bothered. I know a friend or two who are though. Additionally, I did inquire with mods, but I'm waiting to hear back for their insight.

@8SomaCruzes, I've figured out a compromise for the LA DEV Maps page(I think.) I've simply put my list in a Subpage called "List of MAP Files" that way the maps can be listed and your analysis on them can stay. --TheRubyGemstone (talk) 23:09, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
