Old messages from before May 3, 2017. Put them here because they make me cringe for being a dumb kid. (I guess we all were at some point, it's just unfortunate my idiocy is in a public ledger on here, lmao)
NES Screenshots
NES screenshots need to be 256x240 as per the image guidelines. --BMF54123 (talk) 20:10, 19 November 2013 (EST)
- I can't get the 8 pixels at the top and bottom to not crop. --Vectrex (talk) 19:21, 20 November 2013 (EST)
- What emulator are you using? Nestopia and FCEUX can both do it. --BMF54123 (talk) 19:22, 20 November 2013 (EST)
Edit Summaries
If you're going to remove something (e.g. a video) from an article, could you please explain why in the edit summary? We need to know why so we don't mistakenly revert your edits. --BMF54123 (talk) 18:23, 8 December 2013 (EST)
- Ok, I'm very sorry about that. The video was broken, and I am currently looking for a new one. --Vectrex (talk) 18:27, 8 December 2013 (EST)

- The wiki markup is simple, it uses a syntax that can be learnt about here or on wikipedia and elsewhere
- Tile Molester generally ... molests graphics. You'd be better off using this tool for extracting and re-inserting N64 textures.
- You should use an up to date NES emulator. FCEUX is good.
- This is a fun way to find unused stuff. But it may take a long time and don't expect anything, you may just get normal responses from characters.

- Ok, I am working on my punctuation and stuff, first of all. Second what are you responding to by saying "This is a fun way to find unused stuff. But it may take a long time and don't expect anything, you may just get normal responses from characters."? Also, I am thankful for you showing me the n64 image ripping program. I am using Nestopia, is that good enough? Just trying to piece everything together, thanks. Sorry if I'm taking up your time. --Signed: Vectrex (talk) 14:41, 22 December 2013 (EST)
