Will mainly use this page to store whatever info I have and want to implement at some point, whenever I gather the willpower to do it.

Bust a Groove 2

Will need to rip Japanese/English versions of changed songs (Kelly, Comet, Shorty, and Kitty-N's themes, maybe more Move->Groove examples like first game?). Honestly been so long since I've done this I don't remember what I used to rip them in the first place.

Elite Beat Agents

  • /data/2d/bg -- "budeverr" is error screen that reads "cannot access data" -- doesn't appear when removing game card. Investigate if this can appear in retail game (in multiplayer by chance?)
  • The videos for all fails/openings/game overs/one miss endings will have to be done to facilitate searching for unused graphics at some point.

Prerelease:Elite Beat Agents

The creation of the Agents

  • add blurb near end--briefly called Super Sonic Agents (mention potential problems with Sega?), remnants of this appear in early prerelease material (all 300s message, J's badge reading SA-2)

E3 Trailer

  • spinner--font is different from final game (mention beta spinner font being in e3 demo as well?), HOWEVER beta spinner font is present in final game, but only in the tutorial demo sent to another DS via Game Sharing. Get screenshots of all of these (beta in E3 trailer, final, Game Sharing tutorial)
  • GITTYUP! has minor font changes

E3 Demo

Walkie Talkie Man

Gotta Score

  • Agents leave on vehicle instead of Kahn congratulating them at mission end. Same with Highway Star
  • Looks like the star that pops up to cheer up the main character (before Woooooh!) is less detailed? Could be bad video. Again, also in Highway Star
  • Adding on to above, looks like star background is also more simplistic (possibly in files, check test100 again)
  • Couldn't find any other changes to stage proper, examine further
Highway Star

Run Doggy Run

  • Beatmap is different, "I'm gonna race it to the ground"/"It's gonna break the speed of sound" etc. portion is missing the 2nd beat. Looks like only beatmap change.
  • Ouendan leftover--flames during combo
  • Ouendan leftover--calligraphy-styled pass (and presumably fail) icons
  • Different women pick up Sam at end of Part 1 Pass--possibly early Carrington Sisters design or just different women altogether
  • Part 3 Pass (poodle) in demo: "You're so brave! (?)", in final: "You're so brave" --on that note, try to find better footage, I can't really tell if it says 'brave' in the demo but there's definitely a punctuation mark.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All

Nintendo Power Issue #210 Page 36 has an early screenshot of Oldbag's testimony from the first trial of Farewell My Turnabout with a typo that was fixed in the final game ("There was something I was interested in find out, you know..." to "There was something I was interested in finding out, you know..."). Not worth creating a whole Prerelease page just for that, but the other link on the page contains enough to make a worthwhile page, might as well tack this on.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan

  • Big things left to cover in terms of graphics are multiplayer stages and Training, if applicable. Other than that, I've gotten most of the graphics out of this game.

Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2

  • 1OZL is definitely related to LZ01/LZ10--in fact I'm pretty sure palette files are just LZ10 with an extra 00 every eight (?) bytes. Unfortunately the tile/cell files are not so easy to decipher and I don't know what to do with the info I do have. Oh well!
  • The videos for comparison are all complete so a deep dive into unused graphics is possible. Due to the aforementioned 1OZL problem, the available graphics aren't always perfect but they can always be replaced if/when palette issues get sorted out.
