Warhammer 40,000: Dark Crusaders is an FPS that was in development around 1995-96. It was going to be one of the few first-person shooters based on the Warhammer 40K universe and allegedly involved the Dark Crusaders space marines chapter. While the game was almost complete, it was determined that the gameplay was not that much fun and Mindscape decided to scrap the project.

A prototype build circulated around for many years, though it wasn't really documented until it was found on a Russian DOS games website and eventually uploaded to archive.org.

(Note that this game has no relation to the RTS Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade expansion pack released in 2006.)
