About Me

Hi, I'm Cameron, otherwise known as Camtronic16. I'm just a guy who enjoys video games old & new and likes finding unused and hidden stuff within.

I'm also learning to program games for old systems starting with the NES (6502/ RP2A07 ASM).

On TCRF I tend to make smaller contributions, such as fixing some spelling/ grammar mistakes and other misc stuff most people wouldn't care about.

Major Contributions

Alfred Chicken US/ EU Options screen

  • Spyro: Season of Ice - Updated info on the Market Mesa llama sprite (it was fixed in the European version as well as the Japanese version)
  • Wario's Woods (NES) - Rerecorded the existing European songs in 50Hz, Recorded Round Mode and Lesson Mode music in NTSC and PAL

Fun Facts

  • My granddad, Andy Walker used to make games. If you grew up in the early 80s in the UK and parts of Europe, you may recognise his old company Taskset and their games.
    • He was also the main programmer for Digger T. Rock: The Legend of the Lost City, which I have the original Development Backup Disks for (with currently no way of getting the data off them; I need a way to archive 5¼-inch DOS Floppy Disks).
  • Not counting Bootlegs, Virtual Console and Homebrew, I own 2 Retail US games and 4 Japanese games; the rest being European/ UK/ PAL releases. The US games are Mega Man III (Game Boy) and Ultimate QIX (Mega Drive/ Genesis), and the Japanese games are Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3 and Tekken 2.
  • I have a Degree in Games Programming
