This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

The Walking Dead: Michonne is a mini-series based on the titular sword wielding character from the comics. It takes place between issues 126 and 139 of the comic series, showing the events of what Michonne was up to during her temporary departure from the group of survivors led by Rick Grimes.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Any unused content.
  • The Walking Dead Michonne: Cut Content
  • Add images.
  • Organize all the available information into their respective subpages.
  • Get the internal file names of the models and textures.
  • Who the hell are Rashid and Vanessa???

Rashid and Vanessa

In the final game, Rashid and Vanessa are characters mentioned at the beginning, both of whom are missing, with the search for them driving the story forward. After meeting Samantha and her brother Greg, they are mentioned one last time in an optional dialogue, but never brought up again. Despite this, numerous unused files and assets still reference both characters.

According to Kent Mudle, a former director at Skybound Games and Telltale, Michonne got an almost total rewrite really late in development. Rashid and Vanessa were at one point the people Michonne had spooky visions of, instead of her daughters.

Quote: "I remember working on a shot of Rashid spookily appearing just beyond the herd on the beach at the start of episode 2. They were always going to be found dead, but now it’s just implied they died in the ferry (you see a picture if their kids there I think) but no longer hard confirmed with a corpse."

Leftover Animations

Rashid has several leftover animations associated with him, though most are idle animations shared with other characters. The only unique animation, Rashid_sk54_idle_rashidShorelineReveal.anm, is actually used by Pete in Episode 2.

Episode Screens

In the menu archive which stores information about UI elements, there is a diorama file for Episode 3 titled ui_diorama_episode3Rashid.prop, which references the cut character Rashid. Concept art for this early menu exists, which features a screencap from the CW Arrow TV show with minor edits, likely used as a placeholder.
