Hey there. I saw you posted a Valis 3 video select code. What version of the game did you use, because I tried the code and it doesn't seem to do anything. Where did you find the code? Did you try it on a real console or emulation? Did you use a proper No-Intro ROM dump or you're not sure? ReyVGM (talk) 08:31, 25 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi, this was done on both the JP and US versions on both real hardware (NTSC/US model Sega Genesis model 1) and BizHawk. Try pressing Up+A at the same time after pausing in-game in Valis III: the screen changes video modes.

These are indeed using No-Intro ROMs.

I did test it on Bizhawk and nothing happens. When I press Up+A, is anything supposed to change, shift or move on the screen? Do you have to enter any other cheat code previously? ReyVGM (talk) 18:17, 25 April 2022 (UTC)

I'm not sure why it isn't working for you, maybe try this on real hardware. I have tested this with genuine hardware and cartridges, and clearly the video modes change.

Here are the screenshots I took from BizHawk 2.8, Genplus-gx r874 core (You have to be paused first, then hold Up and press A.)

Edit: And here are my display settings ("Use 1:1 pixel size" will allow you to see the difference in video modes more clearly if you're not using real hardware for this.)
