Trial Version

Since this song is from the demo version, shouldn't this be moved to a Proto page? // Foxhack 19:42, 23 August 2012 (EDT)

Unused music

Is there a guideline regarding unused content that is not actually included with the game, but later released elsewhere? I wanted to add the unused songs from TH02-04, but since they are only available as part of Mystic Square's music room, I didn't know if they would actually qualify for being featured on the wiki or not (especially since, to my understanding, all of the music from TH01-04 in Mystic Square is rearranged/remixed, so the unused songs as featured there might not even be in their original forms.)

That said, if LLS's unused music can be part of the article, I can go ahead and upload the ones from SoEW and PoDD. --Devin 21:43, 23 August 2012 (EDT)

The music comments on the unused songs for Touhou 02-04 imply that they are unmodified. Touhou 01 was the only one to have all of its music arranged, as they had to be updated for use on the PMD music driver. That being said, there are a few songs that were slightly arranged for Touhou 02 (these are: stage 4, stage 5, and Mima's theme). I think the "Special Mix" stuff in Mystic Square's music room could be referring to the FM26 music on Touhou 02 and 03 (since they only had FM86 music) and the inclusion of the unused songs. It's not exactly clear what "Special Mix" really does refer to, though, since nearly every song within Touhou 05's music room sounds the same. --Dasutein 22:22, 16 September 2012 (EDT)

Scrapped Character

http://i.imgur.com/FYbBMd7.png ^ Something I've discovered in August Through lots of glitching, I've realized how the game does it's memory management, and what kind of data it stores in memory at specific times. When it loads an end-stage boss, it's portrait, and even portraits of all other bosses are loaded in memory (for some reason), but not of the character you're currently playing as. If you would to remove the medium where the game is stored (physically) and give the game the Fail command on the A,R,F? prompt, you would force the game to use whatever it currently has in memory. Apparently, there is a character scrapped from the game, shown in the bottom left corner. Interestingly, some people couldn't even tell there was a face on that portrait (which uses an incorrect palette anyway).

So what I want to ask is the following: Is this worth putting on the main page of this game as unused content? --Spaztron64 (talk) 17:16, 14 October 2016 (EDT)

If someone can extract that portrait correctly, then it's definitely worth putting up on the wiki. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 17:33, 14 October 2016 (EDT)
Several people pointed out in your MotK thread that it's just part of the background for Marisa's bomb with the wrong palette. Nothing unused about it. Supper (talk) 20:58, 14 October 2016 (EDT)
