September 2001 part 1
This is footage from the test version, dated 8th September 2001, of King and Hwoarang fighting in the Jungle stage. It has many bizarre differences.
- The music for the Jungle stage is different. It seems to be an earlier version of what eventually became the Beach Theme (Kitsch) since lots of the elements like the riff and the chord progression is shared between the two tracks. The same riff was used in the track during Christie's ending (also present in the OST) indicating that possibly the Jungle stage was modeled after the Amazon (jungle) which is mostly located in Brazil (where Christie is from) before the Beach stage was done (also located in Brazil). The only musical element that survived the final Jungle theme (Didgerhythm) is the bassline that got pitched up 2 semitones. This early music track would go on to be used in the Devil Within Mode on Level 3 in Tekken 5. The file present on Tekken 5's data is labeled as "minigame_miyake_" referring to Yu Miyake, the artist who is credited as composing the Beach theme (Kitsch) and Christie's ending theme in Tekken 4.
