The E3 demo was featured in several gameplay videos on YouTube from different channels. Also, the demo for Xbox 360 and PS3 that was bundled with Zone of the Enders HD Collection contains leftovers from the E3 demo, which will be documented here.

E3 Demo Music Leftovers in XBLA/PSN Demo-version The demo version of the game has remnants of the soundtracks from the E3 demo. There are also Boris phrases in the demo that are not used and are leftovers from the E3 demo.

Leftover UI folder from the E3 demo and earlier builds of the game in the PSN/XBLA demo and final game There are remnants of the early UI from the E3 demo and earlier builds in the demo and the final version of the game.

E3 2012 Gameplay Videos

Four videos showcasing gameplay from around this time were shown, with a multitude of differences. The general gameplay appears to be similar.

• As can be seen, things like the HUD and Blade Mode effects and color were changed.
• A handful of unused lines from Boris also appear in the second trailer.
• Raiden seems to constantly have a lightning effect around his body, and can seemingly scale larger walls.
• Although both areas in the trailers are used in the final game, the objectives shown in the trailers for the player to complete are not. Probably for demonstration purposes only.
• An early version of the R-01 chapter map can be spotted in the trailer for E3 2012/Gamescom 2012.
• Also at the end of the trailer you can see an early version of the level in the sewers, where you can see the "light at the end of the tunnel".
