Forza Sample Tracks

Hmmm...
To do:
Partially done. Are the track errors not from extracting the music from .wmapack files?

A disc containing ten sample tracks that all ended up in the final game was sent out by Tom Holkenborg from Junkie XL. The disc has a giant sticker that reads "X BOX Forza Samples" with an unknown press date, though it's likely this was sent out before E3 2004. The disc contains five tracks that play during races, and five in the game's menus.

Race Tracks

Track Number Sample CD Final Notes
3
The drums are less muffled and there's some missing guitar work at 0:46 that does exist in the final version.
8
The drums are louder.
9
The drums are less muffled.
13
The drums are louder and the guitars less muffled.
16
The drums are louder.

Menu Tracks

Track Number Sample CD Final Notes
2
There's a guitar present that doesn't exist in the final version, there are no low-pitched guitars for the entire track, there's extra guitar work at 0:31, there's no track errors at 0:40, 0:51 and 1:31 and the song doesn't fade out properly.
4
Some of the guitars are slightly quieter and there's no track error at 1:04.
7
There's no cymbal instruments.
8
12
It seems like the disc wasn't dumped properly or got partially rotten or corrupted, as this song gets stuck near the end.
