Phiphph Ymrach Adventure
Phip̣hph Ymrāch Adventure |
---|
Also known as: Pipop Yomraj This game has unused enemies. |
Phip̣hph Ymrāch Adventure is an obscure game based on the 2004 Thai cartoon Phip̣hph Ymrāch (literally "World of Yamaraja", and translated to "World of the Death" in the subtitles), in which protagonist characters Boon and Barb (with their mentors Hawk and Vulture, respectively) deliver karmic justice onto bad people by beating them up.
NOTE: Nearly all of the game's graphics are compressed under zlib. All paths take in consideration the folder Data.

Unused Graphics
Early Giant Designs
Each of the graphic folders for the Giant enemies, which are seen from Stage 4, have earlier variations for their designs. They have much slimmer and more muscular designs, though the sprites appear as if the original images had been resized.
Folder: Giant
Folder: 04giantgreen_crop
Folder: 04giantorange_crop
Early Stage Clear Graphic
The folder CUSTOM\Stage clear contains the graphics seen when clearing a stage, but there are also two folders, Alpha and Comp, that contain alpha and color channels for an earlier variation of these graphics with a different font, color, and fading effect. The file names are the same in both folders.
Mockup Graphics
Throughout the game's folders are several mockup graphics likely used to assist development of the game, which is common with many games developed by CyberPlanet Interactive:
character\Boon
The folder containing the sprites for the playable character Boon, character\Boon, also contains a mockup image labeled flash_bomb.gif, dated April 5, 2005, 17:24:42, showing the behavior of this character's flash bomb attack in enemies.
CUSTOM\play-phase
This folder contains two more folders associated with the game's UI, but it also contains two mockup images depicting Barb defeated after confronting the Stage 4 boss, and dialogue for Boon at the same location, respectively. Sadly, this second image has since been corrupted due to an improper bytes per pixel conversion.

Unused Sounds
The folder Edit SFX is an unparsed folder associated with a level editor of sorts. None of the files are parsed by the game, and most of them seem to be duplicates of existing, used sounds, with only one exception. The list of the duplicates can be seen below:

There is also an additional file labeled ไฟล์สำรองลบออกได้.txt (translated to "Backup file can be deleted"), which has no data.
Moontra Kid: The Ghost City Leftovers
An unfathomable amount of leftovers from Moontra Kid: The Ghost City can be found within the game's data, including graphics, music, sound effects, text, and even an enemy (internally labeled Blood_sucker, seen in The Ghost City's Stage 5), the former of which are almost always contained in folders directly taken from that game. A comprehensive listing of these folders can be found below; most assets found in these folders will not be uploaded save for graphics not in that game's final data.

Some folders contain mockup images used to aid in development of Moontra Kid: The Ghost City. Curiously, said mockup images cannot be found in that game's final data.

Executable
These strings can be found in the game's executable, PipopYomraj.exe.
At offset 0x7D584 is a set of leftover strings from Deep Hunter, a previous game by CyberPlanet Interactive:
Deep hunter is a shooting game in the deep ocean. There are three major sea creatures: octopus, green jellyfish and red jellyfish. Octopus earns 5 points and 10 Oxygen points. Green jellyfish earns 10 points. Red jellyfish earns 20 points. There is chance to earn Bonus point too. Press the UP and DOWN arrow key to control the diver's movement. When ready to shoot, press the centre button. Earn as many points as you can within the time limit. Deep Hunter Version 1.0 Copyright 2003 CyberPlanet Interactive. All rights reserved.
Nearby, at offset 0x7DFB4 is a set of enemy names originally seen in the credits of Moontra Kid - Episode 1: Drug War:
MINITOBACCO MOSQUITO FAT - THIEF THIN - THIEF BITEFLOWER JUNGLEMAN ZOMBIE SNAKE MISTICFLOWER GAS - MAN TANK SHOOTER ROBOMAN GHOST NEEDLE ELECTRIC-SNAKE TOBACCO AMPHETTAMINE MARIJUANA COCAINE HEROIN
Moontra Kid - Episode 1: Drug War Leftovers
ItemText.dat, Other.dat and Text.dat, located in the folder DAT, when decompressed under zlib, reveal unmodified text data from Moontra Kid - Episode 1: Drug War. More specifically, these files contain the item/drug description, quiz intro/outcome, and quiz question/choice/answer strings, respectively. These files can also be found unused in Moontra Kid: The Ghost City, as Phip̣hph Ymrāch Adventure is, engine-wise, heavily based on that game.
