An early version of the protagonist's All Out Attack portrait was left in the game as a placeholder for Futaba's portrait. Between the early and final versions, the protagonist's face was heavily altered along with the back of his neck and a small bit of hair.
A placeholder background image for a flashback, resembling an earlier version of the school council room in Shujin Academy. It's worth noting that this image is 1024x512, while final flashback backgrounds are 1280x720.
A placeholder texture for car decals with some fun designs.
A placeholder calling card for the image overlays seen during cutscenes, featuring what appears to be an early version of the Phantom Thieves logo. There are three additional duplicates of this image.

Tutorial Images
All of the images in this section are for various tutorial prompts throughout the game, intended as visual aid for whatever concept or mechanic is being described. They can be found in \font\system\field.
Placeholder button prompts for a PlayStation 3 controller. Each one says "Image (temporary)" at the bottom.
Placeholders relating to deadlines(?), Confidant rankings, Safe Rooms, and Missions respectively.
"Mission Technic" graphics featuring Ann, Ryuji, and a silhouette. These images may actually intend to say "technique", instead of "technic".

A placeholder for the graphic for the Ambush tutorial that uses the input and name from the Japanese version. The version of Kamoshida's Palace seen in the placeholder graphic uses simpler lighting compared to the final, and the pictures on the wall are completely different. A piece of the HUD is visible in the corner of the placeholder tutorial graphic.

Early shot has them in their winter school uniforms, instead of their summer ones, Ann carrying Morgana in a schoolbag instead of the protagonist, and a border, which final flashbacks don't have. The shot has debug features as well: a visible 4/1 (April 1st) date, which is impossible to reach in-game, and an EDIT MODE, relating to the scene's duration. This shot is only in 720p.

Below are placeholder "shots", which are just notes for scenes. The first shot has a placeholder scene of Madarame's change of heart confession. These "shots" are only in 720p.
Placeholder Maps
Every Palace except for Futaba's and Shido's have a clearer version of the maps shown when picking up a map key item. The text on the maps read, in order: Tower of the Old Castle Floor Plan (Temporary), Art Museum Floor Plan (Temporary), Bank Floor Plan (Temporary), Space Station Floor Plan (Temporary), and Casino Floor Plan (Temporary). These graphics were cropped and shrunk down to 64x64 in the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
