While this game/console's online features were once accessible, they are (as of April 30, 2021) no longer officially supported and online-exclusive features may be documented as now-unseen content.
So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Hmmm...
To do:
There's loads of placeholder graphics for other unused drivers. (There might've also been generic cars used in NASCAR pre-race driver/crew chief meetings?)

NASCAR Heat 2 is a slow, but sure follow-up to the caution-filled game that was NASCAR Heat Evolution, that featured a publisher name change in the process.

Bugs

Unused Drivers

Two drivers have fully completed graphics and were cut sometime in development.

Gray Gaulding

Gray Gaulding was a driver for BK Racing in the Monster Energy Cup Series that was replaced by Joey Gase halfway through the season due to conflicts between Gaulding and team owner Ron Devine.

Austin Dillon (Xfinity Series)

Hmmm...
To do:
Elaboate. Maybe compare with Ben Kennedy's files, which basically uses the same graphics.

Austin Dillon's Xfinity Series car was removed for unknown reasons, possibly related to the absence of Ben Kennedy's #96 car in-game, where 704Games were unable to obtain license from GMS Racing, Kennedy's team. Both Dillon and Kennedy drove the same car during the 2017 Xfinity Series season; Dillon entered under Richard Childress Racing banner and Kennedy entered as GMS Racing.

Charlotte Roval

In NASCARHeat2_Data/StreamingAssets/PC/AssetBundles/Tracks (within the game's steamapps folder), a file named charlotte_roval.sab can be found. A prototype version of the Charlotte Motor Speedway's Roval (road course) layout was later included in the 2018 season DLC for the game.
