Anti-Piracy

Unlike the previous SNES games in the series, but much like most of the TOSE-developed SNES games, this game uses a more simplified method to check for piracy. During bootup and before each match, the game attempts to write to SRAM at address $700214. An original cartridge does not contain SRAM, but a cartridge copier will likely contain a large amount of SRAM to support a large variety of games. If the write was successful, all matches will last 3 seconds instead of their original 20 minutes, which practically makes it impossible to score before time runs out. Since this does not check for console region, this game can be played properly on PAL consoles unlike the previous entries.
