Such as: Mentions of suicide

Maiden of Black Water is the fifth game in the Fatal Frame series, wherein Yuri, Miu, and Ren go to an abandoned mountain in search of their missing friends/family with an old camera that can exorcise ghosts.

The game was sold in a weird way: the first two chapters were free to play, but the rest of the game needed to be purchased. In Europe and Australia, a physical version was released which contained the full game.

The game was initially a Wii U exclusive, but received a remaster for modern consoles in 2021.

Unused Cinematics

Hmmm...
To do:
Check if this cutscene is truly unused. It might be used if you buy the DLC while having the second drop cleared on the trial version.

Inside the DLC romfs, in the path content/0010/movie/outline_en.mp4 is an unused cutscene of what may be a brief recap of what happened so far in the story. The last event seen in this cutscene is Fuyuhi Himino's suicide, which happens on the second drop; the game doesn't play any cutscene between the second and third drops.

There are also versions of this cutscene in French and German, at least in the European version.

Internal Name

The game's executable is named Lens5_cafe.
