See, this is why server preservation is important.
This game/console's online features are no longer supported.
While this game/console's online features were once accessible, they are (as of March 3, 2017) no longer officially supported and online-exclusive features may be documented as now-unseen content.
Careful, you'll lose an eye.
This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Rip the models and graphics for this game.
  • Document the leftover/unused maps located in the \worlds folder
  • Prerelease page documenting the cancelled sets and possibly 4.0

Disney Infinity 3.0 is the third and final iteration of the popular toys-to-life game from the owner of your childhood, this time including content from the Star Wars universe among other franchises. It would be abruptly discontinued in mid-2016 due to not meeting financial expectations, with many planned sets never making the cut, and Disney Infinity 4.0 ultimately getting the boot.

Note: All headings are what the data is referred to in the game directory. The game refers to anything that isn't part of the scenery as a "character". "Choreographies" is likely animation data while "worlds" are any scenery the player may see.

Premium Characters

At the time of the cancellation, developers were working on larger 12-inch premium versions of the toys for some characters. Some data for the models and abilities of a few of these characters are in the game:

  • Hulk
  • Hulkbuster
  • Jack Skellington
  • Lightning McQueen
  • Elsa
  • Darth Vader
  • Yoda

Missing/Cut Characters

In the game exists data of most of the missing characters from the Gold Edition that were released on console versions of the game, including:

  • Vision
  • Captain America: The First Avenger
  • Ant-Man
  • Black Panther
  • Baloo

Other characters from the console versions who are harder to restore are:

  • Alice
  • Mad Hatter
  • Time
  • Dory
  • Nemo

There is also data for a few characters who were supposed to be released after the shutdown, such as:

  • Peter Pan

  • Doctor Strange

DI3.0 Dr. Strange-1.png an idea of what the character would look like with its textures restored

DI3.0 Dr. Strange-2.png

  • Spider-Gwen

There is a fully playable character that wasn't released, C.L.U. from Tron: Legacy, which can be accessed with mods, along with the Marvel Battlegrounds characters.

Moana

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Add more Information for the Moana content.
  • Add a Pre-Release Page for Concept art related to Moana.

As a tent-pole Walt Disney Animation Studios release, Moana naturally had a Play Set and figures in development. Quite a bit is left behind in the data, but footage and screenshots have been leaked overtime. Of the following, only Maui and Moana would have been playable characters.

Characters

  • moa_maui

Maui is the only discovered playable character from Moana, with his model being a possibly temporary one, as he isn't as detailed as the leaked footage and screenshots of the Moana Play Set. He also doesn't have separated action figure-like joints, compared to every other character. Hacking Maui to be playable has him animating, using the unused .Bent file, but he doesn't have any attack animations, other than the ground-pound one from Mr. Incredible. His victory/celebrating animation is also just the Mr. Incredible one.

  • moa_moana

Moana, being the main protagonist, is oddly absent from the game files for 3.0 Gold Edition. However, her model and animations do appear in the leaked footages and screenshots of the Moana Play Set.

Missing Playsets

Hmmm...
To do:
Perhaps take screenshots of some of these playsets? (if there's anything of note in them)

It is possible to access some areas of these playsets, however, many of them are unfinished for the most part. Attempting to play many of these will be impossible without some sort of console control, most likely due to some of them not having their respective figures implemented.

Finding Dory

The Gold Edition contains an early version of the playset, based off of the animated film Finding Dory. Due to the Dory and Nemo figures not being implemented, however, it is impossible to move freely without a console control.

Marvel Battlegrounds

The Gold Edition contains an early version of the playset.

Moana

This playset, based off of the animated movie Moana, is quite interesting, because in the Gold Edition, data of this unused playset still exists, and even some maps that assets of a very early stage in its development. It is possible to access these areas, but it is necessary to load them as a toybox to view them.

PSZ (Rogue One)

Acactussayswhat?
Please elaborate.
Having more detail is always a good thing.
Specifically: Is the content listed used in the final game or are they still unused?

This playset, based on Star Wars: Rogue One, is quite unfinished, but unlike the Moana playset, there is a lot more content that was kept in the Gold Edition, such as maps, assets, and vehicles.
