Disney's Tarzan for Nintendo 64 is a port of the PlayStation version of the same name.

Level Select

A level select screen can be accessed by pressing Left, Left, Right, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down, Down using the D-Pad at the main menu. Scrolling to the bottom of the main menu reveals a Cheats option. The level select itself consists of four pages and can be navigated by pressing Left and Right on the D-Pad.

Cheat Menu

In order to activate the cheat menu, you must first activate the level select cheat above. After it's activated, press C-Left, C-Right, C-Up, C-Down, C-Left, C-Right, C-Up, C-Down at the title screen. Alternatively, you can use one of these GameShark codes to add the cheat menu to the pause screen.

Widescreen Mode

There is also a hidden cheat to set the screen ratio to 16:9 widescreen. First, press Left, Right, Up, Down at the main menu. You will hear a sound if done correctly. Afterward, press Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down.

Version Differences

  • The PlayStation version has various still images from the movie that are used to introduce each level and bonus stage. The Nintendo 64 version instead uses a generic jungle background.
  • The Nintendo 64 version lacks the movie clips from the PlayStation version.
