The most notable difference in the high score table screen is the game publisher's logo. The American version shows the Bally Midway logo, while the Japanese version shows the Jaleco logo along with the full name company "Japan Leisure Co. Ltd." below it.

Due to different game publisher, the how to play screen shows "Bally Midway Mfg. Co." in the US version and "Japan Leisure Co. Ltd." in the Japanese version.

Cutscene

In the US version, the cutscene plays every two levels completed. While in the Japanese version, the cutscene plays everytime the player complete a level.

Difficulty

The US version has an harder difficulty than the Japanese version: 1.The red fuzzy monster that appears in the second level in the US version, is absent in the Japanese version making the level easier to complete. The red fuzzy monster appears in the third level in the Japanese version. 2.The US version has two types of bombs: the standard blue ones and the red ones which explode faster. The Japanese version, lacks the red bombs, leaving only the blue ones.
