To do: There's plenty more Retired Quests from the game. Document more if you can. If you can find a reason for the retirement of the quest, or what it would be replaced by, include it. Maybe separate this page into sub-pages.

Wizard 101 has been in development for over 15 years. Over time, the developers have changed questlines, oftentimes resulting in quests or even entire questlines being removed from the game.

Wizard City

A Blad Idea?

A small one-shot quest to recover a Keystone from Haunted Minions, obtained by speaking to Blad Raveneye in Triton Avenue. Rewards 60 Exp.

Marketing is Everything

As a teaser before the Karamelle expansion, this quest was released which assigned players the task of placing advertising boards to advertise Nana's Olde Fashioned Karamelle Delights. Rewards the Corporate Mascot Mask, Corporate Mascot Suit, Corporate Mascot Footies, 10 gold and 40 Exp. This was only available before Karamelle's release, in which it was immediately retired afterwards. Leads to Life is like.... Curiously, after this quest was retired, all placed boards were removed, potentially due to concerned players noting that the signs were placed in areas that would be in the way so they'd have to walk around them manually.

Life is like...

This was a follow up quest after Marketing is Everything, exclusive to those who have completed the quest Nothing and Everything (completion of Empyrea). It involved talking to Bryce Crispie like the last quest, except to deliver chocolate to Lydia Greyrose. After delivering it to her, she requested some of it to be delivered to an acquaintance in the Arcanum. Upon finishing everything needed, the player is rewarded 10 gold, 10 Exp and a Fern Lumi pet.

Negative Attitude

Negative Attitude is the start of a multi-stage questline from the Chamber of Fire (which was entirely cut from the game), first given by Robert Lancaster. Gives 33 gold and 70 Exp. Involves speaking to several Privates in the area. Leads to both "A Developing Situation" and "Whetting Your Appetite".

After turning in the quest "Negative Attitude", you're tasked to talk to Tinu Bhak'mal by the World Door, then talk to Dworgyn in Nightshade. Returning to Robert Lancaster gives 76 gold and 500 Exp.

Whetting your Appetite

A quest given by Private Livingston (a Private spoken to during the quest "Negative Attitude"). The quest involves talikg to Keisar Hal'am and Tinu Bhak'mal. Gives 70 Exp. Leads to Knife Swap.
