Wheel of Fortune is a pinball machine based on the American game show of the same name. Its software was never finished due to poor sales and programmer Keith Johnson being laid off from Stern Pinball, and as a result there are lots of unused assets and game rules.

Unused Music
The game has Trip Multiball modes which are started by either solving Prize Puzzles or winning "Trip" wedges off the Wheel. Each Trip Multiball takes place in a different location with its own music and display effects. The latest 5.0 revision has four Trip Multiballs: Chicago, Nashville, Africa, and Australia. Unused music tracks reveal that eight more - Sturgis, Hawaii, Jamaica, Las Vegas, Mexico, Spain, the Pacific Northwest, and Area 51 - were planned.
Audio | Notes |
---|---|
Sturgis Trip Multiball. Themed around motorcycle riding in South Dakota. | |
Hawaii Trip Multiball. Has a surfing theme inspired by the Beach Boys. | |
Jamaica Trip Multiball. Uses steel drum music. | |
Las Vegas Trip Multiball. This mode would've taken place at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas, thus the old-school pinball chimes. | |
Mexico Trip Multiball. For some reason, this track gets cut off when accessed in Pinball Browser. Composer David Thiel shared the full track here. | |
Spain Trip Multiball. Themed after the running of the bulls event in Pamplona, Spain. | |
Pacific Northwest Trip Multiball. This was planned to be a "find Bigfoot" mode that doubled as a reference to White Water, another pinball machine designed by Dennis Nordman where Bigfoot also appears. | |
Area 51 Trip Multiball. Pat Sajak sends you off to find some aliens, because why not? |
