Fan Game Creation

Hey there Mr.Xkeeper, I was wondering if I could make an artcile on the Sonic Chaos Fan Game. I found a bunch of unused test levels and a port of Green Hill Zone of what seems to be from Sonic Mania. Thank you :). (If this isn't supposed to be here please remove it, I'm still new to TCRF).

Invalid confirmation code

Hi Xkeeper, I just created an account. When the confirmation e-mail arrived, I clicked on the first link to confirm my e-mail address. The page that I ended up at said:

Confirm email address

Invalid confirmation code. The code may have expired.

The confirmation e-mail says at the bottom:

This confirmation code will expire at 12:20, 9 February 2016.

This isn't an issue for me; I don't yet need any e-mail features from TCRF. I just wanted to report it in case it is a technical issue that needs debugging on your end. Blinkdog (talk) 07:27, 2 February 2016 (EST)

This is not the first time I've heard a report about this. Very strange, but not sure where to start looking... --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 12:15, 2 February 2016 (EST)

Youtube player size

Can the youtube player size for size="gb" please be edited to height="170" width="160". You have to include the actual height for the player bar in there, too. I found these values to be satisfying and not blurry.

Also, youtube sucks and it seems to not load one player when the same video is playing in the other player. Please use tabs or something. --Tauwasser 20:09, 8 April 2010 (EDT)

The correct size is 160×169 and this will not be changed, as this graph using size="gb" demonstrates:

Xkeeper-Youtubeplayer.png

Note the gridlines appear perfectly. The reason the Tetris 2 debug menu video is blurry is because it was recorded at the wrong resolution by me accidentally, not because of the player being the wrong size.
The player bar is 25 pixels, which gives 160×144, which is the correct resolution for the Game Boy / Game Boy Color.
With love, --Xkeeper 23:28, 8 April 2010 (EDT)
Just for the record, I didn't try to fix things out of order with my video. I just didn't know the size="gb" thing and had to improvise and found my trial & error resolution looked fine ;) Also, the Pokémon Gold and Silver page was not correct, it had a custom size before my edits, too. So yeah, honest mistake and thanks for clearing that up.
I also agree, that media should be hosted over here. Maybe host a backup copy but link to Youtube for traffic concerns? --Tauwasser 12:11, 9 April 2010 (EDT)

MMX2 Picture edits

Please delete File:Mmx2_ud1.png and rename File:Mmx2_ud2.png to MMX2_Unused_Enemy_Behavior5.png. I replaced the former with single screenshots extracted from that big file (MMX2_Unused_Enemy_Behavior[1:4].png). Not only is the file size atrocious (it can be halved!), it looks also really bad when used on pages (see old revision).

IMO gallery or multiple images in a row should be preferred. Also, images should get proper titles. Maybe put some naming and image use guidelines on the upload page? --Tauwasser 12:51, 9 April 2010 (EDT)

Size tags

Yo Xkeeper, I'm really happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but wouldn't it be possible for the gallery tags to get an additional size-option akin to the youtube player? Also, currently not all systems are implemented for those, or at least I couldn't guess their abbreviations. --Tauwasser 21:16, 10 May 2010 (EDT)

If the YouTube tag is missing sizes, let me know. Some redundant ones (SNES, for example) aren't included because they're covered by something else.
As for the gallery tag, there's a bunch of things I'd like to see fixed... the "size" thing is a pretty good idea (as well as a sort of "half-" size) but unless I can find where the gallery tag is done in WikiMedia's source I can't get it done. --Xkeeper 21:18, 10 May 2010 (EDT)
I suggest that even though SNES might be handled by another tag, you still create it. From a user perspective this would be expected and least confusing ("Why do I have to use "nes" for "snes"?). I worked out that gb, gba and nes do exist. What about gc, gen, gg, n64, nds, pce, ps, ps2, vb, wii? --Tauwasser 06:18, 11 May 2010 (EDT)
Wait, "worked out"? Come on, I wrote Help:YouTube tag for a reason.
As for the other ones, find me the native resolution those run at and I'll add them. The problem with things like "ps" (just as an example) is that it can run at many, many different resolutions (and change between them on the fly, no less) so in that circumstance it might just end up being a sort of default size. --Xkeeper 13:14, 11 May 2010 (EDT)
Then next time link to it somewhere... It's not like I expected it to be there in the first place... --Tauwasser 17:43, 11 May 2010 (EDT)

Template:NeedsProof or something like that

Yo Xkeeper, I've seen a lot of content put up here lately, that doesn't seem to be verified in a good way. For instance the Zanac article contained claims to lost levels that were simply untrue and induced by using game genie codes to see "additional levels". This has been rectified by a concerned user on Talk:Zanac.

However, some other pages contain wild claims as well. For instance Super Game Boy 1 and 2 claims there is an additional color that can be used with some cheat code that is beta. Yet, for instance it might be the case that said cheat code is manipulating the pencils' color value directly, therefore causing it to be of special color in the first place which isn't attainable without manipulating color RAM values directly. Therefore I proposed, in the spirit of BMF54123 who prefers data and investigation over wild speculation as well ― or so it seemed in the forum posts he made about it ― that another template be created so that pages without sourced content and technical explanations of certain effects can be tagged as such.

This is true since the next value (0E) forces the erase color, and the previous value before 0D fores the white crayon the be drawn. This is not RGB color modifier, it is a select 'crayon' modifier. Nensondubois 16:33, 26 May 2010 (EDT)

Mockup:

So very stubbly.
This article/section may cover something that isn't actually unused content, such as level or object data being read from the wrong place.
Willing to research it and confirm it?

<includeonly>[[Category:Pages in need of technical investigation]]</includeonly>

For instance, it might be used on pages that rely solely on cheat codes to show things, especially glitched things or wild guessing and make-shift explanation of corrupted "beta" content. For instance, unused slots in a map list are a good explanation for beta maps, just increasing some level counter via cheat and then talking about corruption because of "lost content" is not. --Tauwasser 12:01, 25 May 2010 (EDT)

Why not give a hand with verifying the speculative pieces of info? -- Rick 13:12, 25 May 2010 (EDT)
This isn't specifically about me. I'm just saying this recent trend perpetuates word-of-mouth. Also, helpful people will be more likely to help if they find the stuff that needs help neatly categorized. Also, I didn't double check because I haven't slept more than two hours in the past three days and likely won't be doing more time in the box tonight either. --Tauwasser 18:37, 25 May 2010 (EDT)
Rewrote the box so it's less of a "This is bullshit, go find out the real shit" and more of a "This might be wrong, verify?". Some people don't have the means to do in-depth research, no reason to come off as hatin'.
Aside from that I don't see why not. Maybe as Template:Needsverified.
But if you add this, be sure to put a note somewhere else (possibly making a new page in the Help space) about ways to verify data for Wiki pages, such as always including how to access content and relevant offsets for text/levels/graphics/etc. --Xkeeper 18:56, 25 May 2010 (EDT)
You might as well add a witty caption and some different colors. I suck at choosing colors, so yeah. Also, offsets would be very game-specific. If people are able to do debugging work, they most likely are able to find the relevant stuff themselves. If they are not able to do so, it is a steep learning curve from using notepad to locate text to debugging and tracing a map loading routine to know if there are overruns in tables, buffers etc. and code/other data is read or executed. Might make generic references about listing offsets as hexadecimal, with rom version where applicable and ram values supplied alongside cheats etc., though. --Tauwasser 19:24, 25 May 2010 (EDT)
EDIT: Also proposed change in wording. --Tauwasser 19:25, 25 May 2010 (EDT)
This is not unused!

How's this? --Sanky ~ talk 05:14, 26 May 2010 (EDT)

Completely clashing wtih the rest of the mboxes. Orange would work best, like {{stub}}. --Xkeeper 05:15, 26 May 2010 (EDT)
Also, the "This is not unused!" is a really bad idea. --Xkeeper 05:16, 26 May 2010 (EDT)
I still feel rather silly about that (the Isolated Warrior thing), but honestly, I had probably played the game hundreds of times since I was a kid (a good friend bought it when it was still new-ish) and NEVER came across one of those rooms! :( --BMF54123 05:27, 26 May 2010 (EDT)
I meant it as a joke, to go with the cactus :P But I guess the colors aren't perfect, yeah.. --Sanky ~ talk 05:31, 26 May 2010 (EDT)
Is this information really cut?
This article or section isn't verified. For example it might be level or object data being really used in normal gameplay, or just plain unconfirmed.
If you are willing to research it, please edit this page or discuss on the talk page!

Edit: Derp: how about this? --Dd-sig.png - Darkdata 09:47, 27 May 2010 (EDT)

I really meant that the box should say that it might be an overflow in some pointer list etc. generated by cheating or a game bug. So the things that I am talking about wouldn't be content, because it's pretty much just data being read from the wrong place or code executed that shouldn't be executed via a cheat or savegame hack etc. For instance, you might argue that the graphical mumbo-jumbo of MissigNo in the Pokemon games is really a "hidden" graphic that was just "cut" before release and is therefore scrambled ― while in reality it is just some overflow in a list and some data is read as a pointer and then the data it points to is treated as gfx for MissingNo, nothing more nothing less. The mbo should therefore reflect that in some way. This is not about a mario sprite that might have been overlooked in-game and is actually used or something like that, which your current box covers only. --Tauwasser 12:11, 27 May 2010 (EDT)
Is this information really cut?
This article or section isn't verified. For example it might be level or object data being really used in normal gameplay, or just plain unconfirmed. It could also just be caused by a cheat-device or a bad pointer.
If you are willing to research it, please edit this page or discuss on the talk page!

But really, I think people are smart enough to figure out things without it being spelled out to them. --Dd-sig.png - Darkdata 12:30, 27 May 2010 (EDT)

Text Styling Templates

I would like to propose the addition of two text styling templates akin to Template:hex. One for styling cheat codes differently from the rest of the text and one to have small inline code, like single assembler commands, styled differently as well. While they may as well be styled like Template:hex, this could help change styles in the future were these were separated. Also, it could be used for some auto-cat'ing. --Tauwasser 19:35, 29 June 2010 (EDT)

Arkista's Ring images.

Would you happen to know what happened with the images on the Arkista's Ring page? They're not showing up for me at all, and actually giving me a "File Not Found" error if I try to click on them. I suppose it could be a cache thing, but hard reloading the page usually fixes all image-related problems, and that ain't doing a thing. How do you find unused stuff in NDS games?--Smbzfan2 05:42, 25 March 2011 (EDT)

You can try using Tahaxan to look at graphics. Though the website is down and you need certain plugins to get it to work. So I uploaded it here. Just double-click on a graphics file (one with a picture icon next to it) then double-click on a palette file (one with a rainbow icon next to it).
You can also try Console Tool. It's a bit more complicated but you can do more stuff with it like... well, sometimes there are multiple animations stored inside files? And you can look at those individual frames and stuff. It picks the palette file for you, but it's not always right, so Tahaxan is a bit better in that regard since you can pick the palette yourself and do a trial-and-error until you find one that fits.
I've only used these for graphics though. I'm not sure about anything else. --Rabidabid 12:43, 25 March 2011 (EDT)

Alright!

..but why isn't there a "insert image" button. And when i try to upload them separately they say that it has to be .MIME or something...--Smbzfan2 13:30, 10 April 2011 (EDT)

Scans vs old screenshots

Hey, I got the message about categorizing images (I didn't know how). But I'm still in conflict over the Megaman Battle Network 6 screenshots I posted. Apparently a bunch of them were removed because the site archives unused content (and I understand that now). The ones that did stay were marked as scans. I got the screenshots off the series's main website. Does that still make them scans?

Sub pages?

Is it possible to make a sub page that can be shared among two different pages?

Thanks :)

At least, I hope so. For the record, I don't look in the edit history to see who started the pages, because that kind of thing really shouldn't matter. And I fail to see how YK thought my most recent edits to Super Mario Land 2 (where, among other things, I noted the early screenshot used the old GOAL but final timer, which in turn confirmed something about development) were worth reverting.

I've always respected the admins, and I always will unless they do things that aren't worthy of respect. While YK had several valid points in my early days here about my early edits (don't resize pictures except by factors of 2, don't add/change alt text, don't make needless changes to "bob" templates), I don't know what happened between July and August 2011 to make him think that the admins' edits were untouchable except by admins. Inuyasha, while I was completely oblivious to YK's posts on my talk page, dispersed information on said talk page. YK...definitely crossed the line there; I hope I never do the same in any way.

And besides all of this, contrary to what YK seemed to be insinuating, I have never come here to intentionally mangle or otherwise screw up anything (I say as much on my user page, where I apologize in advance in the event I inadvertently screw something up), nor to order anyone around or give off an attitude of "I'm better than you"...because I knew when I signed up here that I was in no way going to even approach the best in terms of knowledge or skill.

(tl;dr -- Thanks. :)

One last thing: I've got a feeling that YK, given his attitude in those last two messages, will be gunning for myself and Inuyasha once his 3-day block expires. That thought might be a bit paranoid, but it's there all the same.

(Sorry if I bored you with all this. :| -WarioBarker 19:08, 9 May 2012 (EDT))

I don't actually think the block matters. It was a symbolic gesture. (He still has admin rights, and as far as I know sysops can ignore blocks. Either way, the point was made.)
As for TCRF, many of the other admins agree: there should not be some sort of "holy land" of untouchable articles. Plenty of them have been improved over the last many months, even the ones originally written by The Man™ himself. This wiki is a collaborative effort and everyone should be free to improve anybody else's article.
To that end, BMF and I (and a few others) are thinking about overhauling the guidelines and rules and going back to a more common-sense don't-be-a-d-bag set from before (with the basics on how to use JPG/PNG/GIF etc). Things are tense, stupid, and not at all how they should be. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 19:17, 9 May 2012 (EDT)
I think the main guidelines are fine – or at least, I've found no problem with them (indeed, it was thanks to you guys that I switched from using JPEGs to PNGs unless the image is naturally a JPEG). That's just me, though. -WarioBarker 20:10, 9 May 2012 (EDT)
Most of the issues are with complaints against "tiny edits" or things subjectively viewed as "unnecessary" (for instance, page reorganization or description editing). Some people seem to think that these edits are only done to increase a users' contribution score (which is seen in, well, all of two places; and is generally ignored by everyone anyway) which is a silly argument.
Also, on that note, sysops actually do lose editing rights when blocked; but they don't lose the right to unblock themselves if they have it. Fun facts, I guess. 犬夜叉(Inuyasha) 20:44, 9 May 2012 (EDT)

New Category

So your the guy running this place. Anyways I have been poking around some games lately and found some content that is technically used but can not be seen without certain cheats such as "noclip" so I was just wondering if there should be a category for such a thing like "Games with unseen content" or something similar to that. What do you think? - The Productions

There's no category that I know of. Do you have any examples? --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 11:02, 10 May 2012 (EDT)

Well two examples would be the Whitaker section in the L4D2 page and the Crusader Player Model in the Call of Duty 2 both of which are used but cannot be seen without "noclip" or a similar command. - AK47Productions

Then there's stuff like this (link contains some very loud NSFW audio and video content)... Team Fortress 2 has some hidden stuff in many maps, too. // Foxhack 15:10, 10 May 2012 (EDT)

Spambots :(

I noticed when I first registered here that I had to wait for a verification email....which never arrived. A month or two later, I was mysteriously "verified" and able to edit. Now I see spambots all day erry day. Why not implement a CAPTCHA/RECAPTCHA system into the sign-up process like 4chan has for posting. The one 4chan uses doesn't just use funky text, it also uses images containing numbers such as a house address-sign. I know you've probably looked into this already, but I'm just getting tired of seeing spambots cluttering up the Recent Changes. 404 User Not Found 00:56, 11 May 2012 (EDT)

I don't mean to preach, but i've had good success with notCaptcha for my board in which to register, you'd have to rotate images to face upward. 100+s of daily registrations of spammers dropped to 1 per week. -HsienKo 20:27, 11 May 2012 (EDT)

Question

Hi, i was reading today the full ¨Content to expand/To do list¨ and i noticed a total lack of Biohazard/Resident Evil games. Are they banned of this site for some reason? I know that all of ´em have very interesting stuff in their code. F.E. there is a Resident Evil/Biohazard 4 Preview Disc for GCN that have a Debug menu whit relevant stuff about the scraped RE/BH 3.5. (more data about it on: http://www.the-horror.com/index.php?id=features&s=re4demos ); also there is a disc of Biohazard 2 beta 2 floating around the net, with early models inside and an almost functional debug menu.

I want to help with some input about survival horror games and HKO´s (i have played a lot of ´em) but i dont know if that is possible here. Some HKO´s have debug data or content from other games for Famiclon (more data about famiclon: http://ultimateconsoledatabase.com/famiclones/polystation_II.htm) So: is possible to write about that stuff here? Thank you in advance for your answer :D Have a great week! Angus_Macgyver (talk) 10:45, 6 Jun 2013 (EDT)

Broken IPS links

I can't seem to access any of the .IPS files. If I try to, the wiki will instead treat the file like a page (ex.:tcrf.net/images/6/60/Addams_Graves.ips will try to motivate the user to create a page). Further, at least in FF, right-clicking on it and clicking "Save As..." will save an HTML page as an .IPS file. I can't seem to figure out why. --From: divingkataetheweirdo 23:06, 16 March 2013 (EDT)

Yeah, this is a known issue that's been discussed in IRC, and has to do with the custom rules enacted here for page naming. The best workaround for now is uploading them compressed in an archive but obviously that doesn't help if you don't have access to the original files. — Vague / Rant 23:10, 16 March 2013 (EDT)
How about uploading the file on Mediafire, and linking the file through an external link? Chaossy - The Computer Geek 08:33, 17 March 2013 (EDT)

Animated compare template

I developed a script for Template:Compare that makes it animated. I'm not sure if you caught it or not on the talk page, but I posted the code there, and now an administrator needs to add it to MediaWiki:Common.js. It's been some days since I brought it up, and seeing as nobody replied, here I am! If there's another admin that knows more about js and/or deep wiki stuff, you can point me to them. {EspyoT} 19:37, 27 March 2013 (EDT)

Table of contents limit

Could you implement the table of contents limit tag like on wikipedia, for pages with loads of subsections that use up space on the TOS? See the Template:TOC_limit article and it's talk page on wikipedia

--Hiccup 12:25, 19 April 2013 (EDT)

I'll consider it. It doesn't seem hard to implement, at least, and it could be useful in some circumstances; thanks for pointing it out. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 12:58, 19 April 2013 (EDT)

Better CAPTCHA system?

I didn't want to add this to your to-do list myself until I knew how you felt about it.

I figure that one way to at least deter SOME of those pesky spambots from...well, posting their spam is to make up a more complex CAPTCHA system, for not just creating an article, but also editing articles/creating pages/uploading files etc. It would be a pain for people actually trying to do things, but it's a second line of defense against the annoying copy/pasted spam profiles/pages. Thoughts? --AquaBat 12:16, 27 July 2013 (EDT)

I think most people would agree that adding a CAPTCHA to every page would not be an acceptable solution to the problem. Yes, the bot edits are annoying as hell, but they're not frequent or disruptive enough to require such drastic measures. --BMF54123 04:53, 28 July 2013 (EDT)
Have you guys tried using a plugin that hooks up Stop Forum Spam to the registration page? MediaWiki.org has a list of things that could be used. // Foxhack 10:54, 28 July 2013 (EDT)
StopForumSpam is already polled on any new registration. It used to send an IRC report on failure but Xkeeper got tired of the "oh my god look at all the spambots that are being blocked, we have a problem" talk. 犬夜叉(Inuyasha) 10:58, 28 July 2013 (EDT)
Yeah, I can see why that would be a problem. XD We use SFS at VGCollect and I've noticed several -new- spammer IPs pop up these last few days. All things considered, this wiki does not have as big of a spambot problem as many other places I've visited. // Foxhack 17:20, 28 July 2013 (EDT)
I have to say you're right about that. Places like, for example, Bulbapedia practically get a new spambot registering every minute. I just figured that you might want to try doing something to prevent it, but looking at your conversation about StopForumSpam, I can tell it's a choice of either putting up with something really annoying and tiresome...or putting up with the spambots. --AquaBat 22:09, 28 July 2013 (EDT)

Link's Awakening Debug Stuff

Here's a question I hope you can answer. Let's take one subject from the Debug Utilities section of LA, let's say Free-Movement Mode. Setting address 0xC17B to a nonzero value activates Free-Movement Mode. My question is, what train logic did you use to figure that out? Did you disassemble the ROM and look at instructions? Did you randomly start plopping non-zero values in the memory editor and find it? How did you find it? What made you find it? --Cuber456 21:16, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

I found it purely by blind luck. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 23:36, 4 August 2013 (EDT)
On that note, has the game been disassembled yet? It could reveal either if there is a cheat code or the full extent of the effects - Andlabs 23:39, 4 August 2013 (EDT)
How can you be so damn lucky??? Its almost kind of scary :P. Well, on another note, to answer Andlabs question, you could probably disassemble the game using a program like GBRead. --Cuber456 01:28, 5 August 2013 (EDT)

Action 52

I don't know whether the added info is right or wrong but this section needs serious formatting regardless. --Cuber456 01:28, 5 August 2013 (EDT)

Admin counter

Just a quick question - I noticed that the {{NUMBEROFADMINS}} counter being used on the Sandbox says that there are 12 admins. Obviously, there are only 9 real administrators. Is the counter including XkeeperBot? Or something else? --AquaBat (talk) 16:32, 10 October 2013 (EDT)

Might be. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 16:34, 10 October 2013 (EDT)
-- The Wiki user list shows that it is indeed counting the "bot" --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 16:36, 10 October 2013 (EDT)
Yeah, I figured as much. Since it was given admin status, it shows up in the count. Makes sense. --AquaBat (talk) 16:42, 10 October 2013 (EDT)

Chat Ban

I was banned from TCRF's IRC chat, and am not happy about it, but it was my own fault. I have since recognized that the reason I was banned was due to to my extreme annoyance to everyone, and how I wasn't always nice to everyone. I came to your talk page asking for the ban on me on the IRC chat to be lifed. I am REALLY sorry to everyone, including Glitterberri, and a few other users. I leave the final decision up to you, Xkeeper. --Signed: Vectrex (talk) 17:54, 22 December 2013 (EST)

New Video Format Size

Hey Xkeeper, I was wondering if it would be possible for you to add a new format size for YouTube videos. In particular, could you add a specific size for DS videos? I think the size of the video player on the Mario Kart page and the 999 page are optimal. --Cuber456 (talk) 21:26, 16 March 2014 (EDT)

There already is: size=nds. You can see it in use at the Super Mario 64 DS page. -Einstein95 (talk) 21:33, 16 March 2014 (EDT)
Oh. Interesting. I didn't know that. I assumed that it didn't exist since it wasn't listed on the page before (now it is). Um... are there other video size formats that exist that aren't listed on that page as well? We might as well list all possible formats right? --Cuber456 (talk) 22:00, 16 March 2014 (EDT)
I think that's it for video sizes, I just kept overlooking that page after the DS size got added into the PHP. -Einstein95 (talk) 22:02, 16 March 2014 (EDT)

The "High Quality Cactus"

Think this is what the "High Quality Cactus" should look like? --Cdudeiscool (talk) 10:58, 19 July 2014 (EDT)

Huh? No, its appearance is exactly as designed. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 11:00, 19 July 2014 (EDT)

--Cdudeiscool to --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper

So I want to decorate my sig, but I don't want to edit the talk page every time. Can you do that? --Cdudeiscool (talk) 21:53, 24 July 2014 (EDT)

Hijacking: Look in Special:Preferences. --KeLopez (talk) 21:55, 24 July 2014 (EDT)
I decorated it, but it ended up looking like this, so I changed it back. --Cdudeiscool (talk) 18:10, 25 July 2014 (EDT)
Did you tick the box saying "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)". -Einstein95 (talk) 20:32, 25 July 2014 (EDT)
Ok, thanks! --Cdic-sig.png ( Cdudeiscool ) 20:45, 25 July 2014 (EDT)

Special Page oddities

Hello, Xkeeper. I wanted to ask you about an oddity in the Special pages, specifically Special:BrokenRedirects. Currently, there are three listings on that page: The first was a Proto for Jurassic Park:Trespasser, the second was a Proto for Rockman Neo, and the third is a Proto for Mega Man Legends. The issue is that the first two are already deleted pages, so they cannot be redirects. The third page is an actual proto page, not a redirect. Would you be able to fix these issues? --Sgv Sth (talk) 17:08, 30 October 2014 (EDT)

Change name?

Hi there! Can you change my name to "SunakazeKun" please? I use this name on various websites. GermanPokemon (talk) 09:48, 17 December 2015 (EST)

Username

I wondered how long it would take until someone noticed. It's a great movie. Can you do a rename, or do I have to recreate a new account?--BossreggiN (talk) 11:39, 30 April 2016 (EDT)

Broken image

You want to know about broken stuff. File:NintendoBadgeArcade-Hey there! Having fun?.png is broken. Think it's just the filename?--BossreggiN (talk) 11:50, 30 April 2016 (EDT)

Fixed. Moved to File:NintendoBadgeArcade-Hey there Having fun.png -Einstein95 (talk) 05:47, 2 May 2016 (EDT)

Request: Name change

Apologies, I chose a bad (misleading) name when signing up. Can it please be changed to something like Protoblob? I use that name on some websites, and Proto on others, but since Proto here is a category for pages, I find my name kind of misleading. Thank you in advance! --Proto (talk) 02:49, 11 May 2016 (EDT)

Username change

I initially registered to sort out some content that was uploaded with my permission, and that's been sorted out. Is it possible to have my username changed? If so, I'd prefer RM76 as my username. --From: NotYourContent

Move request

Hello. Can you rename this page to "Castlevania: Bloodlines"? I don't seem to have a Move button.--GeneralFailer (talk) 08:46, 15 January 2017 (EST)

There should be a "move" button on your page somewhere, but I've gone ahead and moved that page anyway, as well as the prototype page and have updated the template too. -- Bast (talk) 09:06, 15 January 2017 (EST)

Name change please?

I chose a stupid name when I signed up. Could I have it changed to "Chainspike"? Thanks, I really hate this name. --Hello123 (talk) 04:25, 22 May 2016 (EsT)

Yet Another Name Change Request

Hello! I was directed to you from the official Twitter account, in regard to user name changes. Looking at the page, I'd say I'm in the right place, too!

Anyway, I'm trying to retire my old handle of "Doc Lithius," so if it's possible, I would like the user name of "Joseph Lithius" instead.

Thanks, if it's possible! If not, thank you for your time, anyway!

~ Doc Lithius (Info|Chat|Edits) 13:46, 23 June 2017 (EDT)

And we're good to go! Thank you very much!
~ Joseph Lithius (Info|Chat|Edits) 14:26, 23 June 2017 (EDT)
Sorry, to make this request so soon after the last one… but, um… could I get another name change from "Joseph Lithius" to "Josephine Lithius," please? Promise that this'll be the last one for a while! I'm really trying not to abuse it…
Thank you. Sorry. Heh…
~ Joseph Lithius (Info|Chat|Edits) 16:32, 14 July 2018 (EDT)
