The correct tag would be soundfile iirc

-Khara (I forgor how to sign off)

{soundfile|game} notes it as being ripped from a game. dont think {prerelease-sound|game} is a thing either. let me know if there's any other tags I can use. Trash Bandatcoot (talk) 15:00, 26 May 2022 (UTC)--
Might be best to ask the mods on the Disc, I personally don't know either MalaBG (talk) 15:07, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

Proto MKDD Records Screen

Hey there, how's it going?

You left a to do comment saying that you were unsure if the cheat code was allowed in the proto MKDD Record section, because it doesn't allow access to unused/debug content, but I just wanted to argue that you wouldn't be able to see the cups in the record screen (or the course select screen) without the game having some Grand Prix records set in RAM, which is what the code does. Since the whole screen is inaccessible when trying to play the demo normally and even with the Debug Menu code you still can't normally see the cup images, I thought I'd provide a code as evidence and reference for anyone else wanting to view the early trophy designs in game.

If I am completely wrong and there is a way to set Grand Prix results + get the trophies to show in both the records screen and the course select screen with just the debug menu then the codes can be removed straight away.

Could I ask what you meant by your comment and what your thought process was? I'd be happy for it to be removed or changed, I just wanted to see your point of view as I've just shared mine.

Good job on organising and documenting the MKDD pages by the way!

Pizza Tower Builds Found

A LOT of builds can be found Here Including But Not Limited To The Summary build, Every BBL Build, Nerfed grab, Artpass, Early Entrance Level, Coop, Entrance level, Frostbite_Early, April 2021 Hotfix + Console, And A Lot Of Undocumented Builds.

And Tetrabit's New Video Talk About A Lot Of Builds That Not Even PTD (WBAH) Doesn't Know About Ck (talk) 9:02, 11 April 2023 (WST/Wisconsin Standard Time)

Firstly, this archive has been on my radar since the beginning. Secondly, my point of my archive is to backup the original zips, not backup every single build. Thirdly, builds that are missing are uploaded on a separate page. I even made sure the URL would be noticable first by anyone looking for something that's missing. Everything from the archive you've shared is already on there. Fourthly, I was involved with the creation of the video, so everything you see there was overseen by me. And fifthly, I'd prefer to distance myself from the game and community. While backing up builds is my thing, the game's gotten boring, became saturated by mainstream media, got an even more toxic community with people that have hateboners towards each other, and working on the TCRF page became a burden and stressful. I'd suggest you to spend a few more minutes online, and you can see for yourself that everything in that archive you sent is already up (minus some playtester builds that haven't been leaked). --Trash Bandatcoot (talk) 14:33, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

Double Dash!! Pages

Hi! Dunno if I should be doing this, but I just want to say that you did a really great job with the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! pages. It looks better than ever. I did some minor changes (in terms of updating the links for some pages) if that's okay with you. Otherwise, I hope you can keep up the good work! -- TetraFan1000 (talk) 22:45, 12 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi, that's no problem! I've moved quite a bit of stuff around since I started editing the US kiosk demo page in particular, so feel free to edit if you spot any broken links or grammatical errors. Thanks for the kind words! --MaxiBash (talk) 22:53, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
Thanks and you're welcome, and I'll definitely look forward to any broken links and/or grammatical errors that need to be done, even if it's only ever-so-slightly minor. :) -- TetraFan1000 (talk) 23:00, 12 November 2023 (UTC)

Bowser's Castle Laugh Footage

About the footage I used for the Bowser's Castle laugh, those are just my own private mods I made for the characters. I wouldn't call them "strange" lol. I don't see what's wrong with using character mods in the footage. -- Stewie1.0 (talk) 21:38, 17 January 2024 (EST)

Generally it's best to not include unnecessary mods in your footage to keep focus on presenting unused content. If you don't mind, I can replace the video for you, and perhaps even group this together with a section discussing unused object behavior. --MaxiBash (talk) 10:07, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
I've used mods in other videos and was never mentioned this. This is why I'm confused. -- Stewie1.0 (talk) 14:04, 18 January 2024 (EST)
Oh yeah, and one of the Mario Kart 7 videos has a character mod too. That one didn't have any issues. -- Stewie1.0 (talk) 14:11, 18 January 2024 (EST)
Just because another video also had mods applied doesn't mean you should follow their footsteps. The reason it likely wasn't removed is because that page doesn't have a lot of frequent edits, or someone doesn't see the need to improve the page and its formatting (yet). Either way, that video should be replaced too. There's no need to have two videos to showcase one unused track anyways. --MaxiBash (talk) 21:11, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
I mean I wasn't following in their footsteps. That was just an example. But fine I'll just remake the video, even though I have others that uses other mods anyway. -- Stewie1.0 (talk) 16:25, 18 January 2024 (EST)
Thanks, I appreciate it. --MaxiBash (talk) 21:30, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

SM3DL Kiosk Demo

Where did you find the Kiosk Demo of SM3DL (US and Japan versions). Is it a dump from a Kiosk Station?--PCSX2-chan (talk) 21:55, 14 October 2024 (UTC)

The US version should be readily available online if you look on Google. I'm not sure about the Japanese version though. That one was found on a CIS-004 kiosk unit (alongside probably every digital Japanese 3DS kiosk demo that was released) back in 2020. It didn't really reach the public's attention, but folks online might be able to supply you with this particular demo. --MaxiBash (talk) 19:30, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
