Hello and welcome to the wiki! I'm always happy to have another Japanese translator around, especially since I've been rather busy for a while. I've noticed that most of your translations are well done, but a couple of them have had some issues WRT accuracy. Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions, either via my talk-page or on TCRF's IRC channel where I and many other users and admins hang out. GlitterBerri is the senior translator here (she's translated professionally published and sold books), so please feel free to ask her too, though she tends to be just as busy (or more so) than I am.

Also, would you mind adding a line to your user page like the one on mine that shows your level of fluency of Japanese? It also adds your name to the "Users by language" page when you click on the specific languages on that page, which is handy for keeping track of who speaks what.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I hope I have marked my profile adequately for my language level. I haven't used my Japanese in a few years since I have no one to practice with, so I'm hoping I can gain my proficiency back and maybe even surpass it. I remember a lot of conjugations though, which I'm happy about. I would love to speak with you and will be hanging around on IRC when I can. EDIT: Just wanted to add an additional thanks for the corrections to the Dragon Scroll hidden message. I really should not have taken a crack at something I wasn't confident with, but I hope I could trouble you for a little insight into some of the translation of it. What did I miss when I interpreted mesumidashi as 召す見出し? I perhaps wrongly assumed that 召す would be tonally correct. -SunTzuSaidThat (talk) 16:06, 9 December 2015 (EST)

I see you've already found our IRC, so that's good! For your second question, the word was actually ぬすみだし (盗み出し). The fonts in older games can be a bit hard to read, but if you zoom in really close you can see the little tail that distinguishes め from ぬ。 I've had the same thing happen to me before, so don't feel too bad! In fact, it's probably precisely because that's happened to me so many times that I've learned how to read those old, NES-era fonts better than I did when I first came to TCRF, so your translations will improve if you keep at it. I wanted to run another Dragon Scroll translation by you last night, but Windows thought it would be a wonderful time to update. This is in regards to what is currently the last untranslated message.

きみの しあわせを しんじて
ぼくは きみのまえから さります
しあわせに まこ、、のぶちゃんより

君の 幸せを 信じて
僕は君の前から 去ります
幸せに まこ、、のぶちゃんより

I believe your luck dried up 
when I wasn't paying attention.
Mako's and Nobuchan's, less so.

I made a minor correction to what you've written above, please check the history if you'd like to see it highlighted by the wiki's internal diff-generator. I asked a native speaker to verify my take on this, since I wasn't 100% sure what the 幸せに in the last line meant, and I came up with, "I believe you'll be fine without me, so I'll leave you. Please be happy Mako. From Nobu". In this case, より is not being used as the "less than" marker, but rather meaning "from". The main context that gives this away is that より is used in letters to show whom the letter is from. Since this sounds very much like a letter, and the より comes after a name, it almost has to be used to show the writer of the letter. Please feel free to add this to the article yourself by the way, I don't mind :) BTW, literally, it's something like, "Believing in your happiness, I'll leave from in front of you (I'll leave your side).
