Bandai Namco

I brought up the inconsistency of Bandai Namco's name from 2006 to 2014 to an admin on Discord, and it was decided that the "Namco Bandai Games" category was to be scrapped entirely; all games under that label should be moved to "Bandai Namco", as is seen in the company's logo since the merger, as well as the full name of the company in Japanese. Do not attempt to undo any of these edits, thank you

About release dates in bob

When adding release dates for additional regions to a page, remember to check whether they're from a later year than the original release and add |nocat=true to them if they are. --Zyxyz (talk) 20:37, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

Emulated GBA Rereleases

I noticed you added "Game Boy Advance" to the page titles of the NES versions of Pac-Man and Bomberman. The GBA versions are emulated rereleases, so they shouldn't include "Game Boy Advance" in the title. --Kak64 (talk) 12:25, 18 May 2024 (UTC)

Magic Knight Rayearth page moves

While I understand what you were trying to accomplish with your recent edits to the various Magic Knight Rayearth pages, the correct title of the series is in fact "Magic Knight Rayearth" in Japanese. It's a common misunderstanding that it's called "Mahou Kishi" because the title is written as 魔法騎士, but the authors actually gave it the irregular reading of マジックナイト (Magic Knight). "Mahou Kishi" simply isn't the correct title, for the same reason that Initial D isn't called "Kashiramoji D". Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be possible for a regular user to simply move the pages back to their original titles, or I'd do it myself. Since you made the edits to begin with, could you please get someone with the necessary privileges to handle reverting things? Supper (talk) 02:48, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

  • thx for the advice but the problem was that only the Sega Saturn game used its English title when it was released in the States, but I’m about to revert everything right now. --SpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 09:51, 26 May 2024
