"That was a placeholder while we were adding actual content."
Which is explicitly against the guidelines found in the Help pages. A placeholder doesn't add anything to the wiki that can't already be done using the "Show preview" button on every edit page. That said, it's great to see that the article has since been expanded upon, nice work. — Vague / Rant 14:35, 31 January 2017 (EST)
- By the time I got involved, the page had already been created. It was too late to not submit anything until we had some content. So I figured I'd add some, as I'd been considering doing so for a while anyways. And now here I am, getting a warning or whatever for violating a rule I didn't violate and creating a page I didn't create. I recreated it after it was deleted while I was editing it, but I didn't create the original blank version. I'm not even sure if this is how you're supposed to reply, but the help page thing is sending conflicting signals (that or I suck at reading help pages...yeah that's probably all it is) and I don't want to risk accidentally ACTUALLY violating a rule, so I'm just doing this for the moment. --Splitwirez (talk) 20:44, 31 January 2017 (EST)
- There was another user working on the article too, as implied by the "we" you wrote. But I await to see what you and the other user do have in store for Darkspore. Keep in mind the page was originally written with "Please edit.", which is qualifies it as a placeholder. Still, thank you for expanding Darkspore. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 20:53, 31 January 2017 (EST)
- Fair enough..."we" were working on the page, so I guess my phrasing was rather ambiguous. Also I apologizing for missing the Defunct label thing...didn't know that one even existed. Pretty sure there's more stuff to add...probably a whole subpage worth of unused Spore leftovers, heh...we'll see. --Splitwirez (talk) 20:57, 31 January 2017 (EST)
