Allowing LakeFeperd's Fan Games? (Sonic BTS, Sonic ATS and Sonic Chrono Adventure)
Sorry for getting ahead of my self, I didn't read the full rules when I started working on the page and i didn't understand what you meant by "fan game" under a reason for deleting one of the page images. (first time if you couldn't tell) Anyway, I want to create pages for these fan games because now is one of the most easiest times to document unused things inside these games due to there sorce code being released for about 4 years now. and nobody to my knowledge seems to really have documented anything interesting found inside these. they also can help bring a little incite on how Spark The Eletric Jester was coded, as they use the same engine and framework.--Chopps (talk) 02:39, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
How do you know that "RedShell" exists as a Mario project name?
Just curious. --Hiccup (talk) 03:48, 10 January 2018 (EST)
- I wrote it down once. It's just been too long for me to remember which game it was. Ehm (talk) 09:21, 10 January 2018 (EST)
Yooka-Laylee "1 Meter Grid" and coloured grids
Hey, just wondering: What were the original asset names of the '1 meter grid' texture and the five coloured grid textures? I'm trying to figure out which Unity plugin(s) they originated from (if any). --periaster (talk · contribs) 18:32, 20 January 2018 (EST)

- There are also a bunch of icons for "ProBuilder", which I'm not sure are related to these grids. -Ehm (talk) 18:53, 20 January 2018 (EST)
Getting Started
I'm new here and I'm trying to get started searching through games files. What do i do or use to get started? Can you list some steps so I can get started on my computer? --Aaron Beasley 09:16, 4 May 2018 (EDT)
- It all depends on what game(s) you want to look into. -Ehm (talk) 09:27, 4 May 2018 (EDT)
- I want to search Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Odyssey, Ocarina of Time, and many more Wii, GameCube, or Nintendo Switch games. --Aaron Beasley 09:42, 4 May 2018 (EDT)
Confused about an edit
Hey, I noticed you recently removed my section on oddities for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets because they were just "nature of the engine". I guess I understand what you mean, but I don't think you understood the point of the section. Yes, Unreal Engine used actor rooms and such, but the point of my oddities section was that these were actors that you can see placed where you aren't supposed to see them... But you CAN see them and in normal gameplay. I see stuff like this in other pages, so it's a bit confusing why it got taken down on this article. Could I undo your edit? --DmBd-R (talk) 20:25, 30 August 2018 (EDT)
- If you can provide non-debug screenshots showing how the characters can be seen within normal game limitations, then yes feel free to document that kind of stuff. -Ehm (talk) 11:13, 1 September 2018 (EDT)
Japanese Anti-Piracy Warning
"These are included in a vast number of Japanese games and are not valid for documentation"
It's still a regional difference, is it not? Still, you seem pretty sure. I can only assume you have something to back up this claim. I mean, if there's a precedence or rule about this specific thing, right here at The Cutting Room Floor… or, ya know, some sort of Wikipedia article that talks about it and says when it was first introduced… I highly encourage you to point me in the right direction. Otherwise? I think it should go back up.

- Identical messages reused for many games aren't especially noteworthy. If it's unused even in the Japanese version, or has changes between revisions, things like that, then go ahead. Theclaw (talk) 00:59, 10 January 2019 (EST)
Handling Large Prototypes
Hey there! I have a late development build of Darblez that's about 53.5 MB, which is too large to upload. How should I handle this? Would I be allowed to upload it somewhere else and link to it on the article? --Kimimaru (talk) 02:43, 22 January 2019 (EST)
- Yes, an external upload and then URL on the page is completely acceptable. -Ehm (talk) 08:44, 22 January 2019 (EST)
Looking at GB/C Graphics
Hey, I have been using TileLayerPro to try and see the graphics of Kirby's Dream Land. What I can't figure out is where certain graphics (such as the HUD) are, because most of the tiles are garbled... uh... garbage, or other random objects just layered over things. I want to know if there is anyway to fix this and make it easier and clearer to search through. Sultanofswag89 (talk) 18:52, 7 February 2019 (EST)
- I'm the wrong person to ask about something like this, sorry. -Ehm (talk) 12:44, 8 February 2019 (EST)
Rescue The Scientists
Hi. Do/did you have a copy of the game Rescue the Scientists when you created the article page for it? I've been trying to find the CD music for quite a few years, now. I used to have that game, but have lost the CD since a long time, and have fond memories of the music. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Emjeeman (talk • contribs)

SMT4 Apocalypse and portrait file types
Hey there, I saw you had uploaded the DLC placeholder portraits for Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and thought you could help me understand how to extract them as PNGs. I have the files from the DLC but they're CMP files that I can't open with my extraction tools, (Kuriimu) so I wanted to know how you were able to view and export them. Here's the files I'm working with: https://www.mediafire.com/file/upjvbnjnkz9e66m/IV_Apoc_DLC_Busts.zip/file DelfinoDurians (talk) 02:36, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
