Hello

Thanks for the info on the Humongous soundtracks. You seem to do a much more thorough job of checking these than me -- I would never even have thought that little flag was clickable. Also, I'm very grateful for your Humongous OST uploads on YouTube. After I've tagged mine as exhaustively as I can, I actually check them against yours to see whether I've missed anything. Even though that's not always foolproof since you've omitted some of the tracks (particularly on older uploads), it's still helped me catch a couple of times that I thought a track was unused when it wasn't. Oh, and, just to clarify -- for situations where a track is unused, even if it's only in one version of the game like in PPJtP, it still goes on TCRF. Thanks again! Supper 20:11, 16 June 2011 (EDT)

It was my pleasure! Yeah, I recall clicking every single click point in Putt-Putt Joins the Parade when I got bored at one point. I even found this weird click point. I'm glad I've been able to help. Yeah, I should have just changed it, but oh well. It was my pleasure! I'm glad to help! legoking831 12:19, 17 June 2011 (EDT)

Replacing Files

Hey, if you're uploading a better version of an existing file/image, you can just use the "Upload a new version of this file" link on the file's page. This saves us the hassle of having to replace links and delete the old file. --BMF54123 17:08, 17 March 2013 (EDT)

Sorry about that, I'm not the most avid wiki editor in the world. --Legoking831 18:02, 17 March 2013 (EDT)

Categorizing

Please be sure to categorize the images you upload (for example, to categorize a PC title screen shot, use {{titlescreen|PC}}). Check out the Tagging Images section of the Rules & Editing Help for a list of the available categories. --BMF54123 23:33, 18 March 2013 (EDT)

Okay, will do. --Legoking831 23:35, 18 March 2013 (EDT)
Also, when uploading debug screens (path, item, room, etc.), use the debugscreen template, not the screenshot template. --From: divingkataetheweirdo 19:30, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
I really have no idea how to use a wiki, do I? I'm sorry for all the inconveniences I've caused... --Legoking831 19:34, 29 March 2013 (EDT)

"System" field

When replacing "PC" with both "Windows" and "Macintosh", please remember to change "system=" to "systems=" so that the multiple systems display correctly in the template. Several of the pages you've edited are currently broken because of this. --Devin (talk) 20:59, 17 May 2014 (EDT)

Also, if there's only one system, don't use the "{{system}}" template - that's for use with the "systems=" field when there are multiple systems for one game. --Devin (talk) 21:00, 17 May 2014 (EDT)
Okay, sorry about that. What happened is that I was fixing a bunch of other pages, and thought that since it was working for them, it would be the same for the rest. I already previewed it on most of the HE game pages -- if you really think I was going to do the same for thirty more pages, well...yeah, I think you can see why I didn't. Thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind. --Legoking831 (talk) 21:08, 17 May 2014 (EDT)

Freddi Fish 2 animation

If you haven't seen my message already, I checked out the unused animation in Freddi Fish 2 you mentioned. See here. Supper (talk) 22:38, 23 August 2014 (EDT)

Freddi Fish Prerelease

You may have gotten the two Grandma Grouper screenshots confused in that prerelease page, all the differences listed as being in the final game are seen in the screenshot marked "prerelease". I haven't played the game in quite a while so I wouldn't know which is which, so I thought I'd let you know. --AquaBat (talk) 19:40, 2 September 2014 (EDT)

That's what happens when I rush things. As far as I could tell, only one bullet got the two confused; the rest were correct. --Legoking831 (talk) 22:41, 2 September 2014 (EDT)

Humongous animation ripper

Here's the new version of HEErip with animation sequence support. I haven't tested it on every game and I probably won't be able to in the near future, so consider this a prerelease and let me know if if gives you any problems. The easiest way to use it is to run heerip_sequences.bat in the same way as heerip.bat. DOS-era games aren't supported, at least for now.
A quick caveat with how animations are ripped: There are basically two types of "frame definitions" that animations can use. The first one just says "draw parts 1, 2, and 3 at locations X, Y, and Z", which is easy to handle. The other one says "draw parts 1, 2, and 3 at X, Y, and Z, but assign them labels 4, 6, and 9 and let the script that runs the animation manipulate them however it wants" (typically used for talking animations, where each mouth movement will be part of the same "frame"). In that case, the program will write each component of the frame to a separate file, with names like "frame-1-component-1-id-4", and you'll have to figure out how to put them together yourself. It's usually pretty simple. Supper (talk) 14:23, 21 September 2014 (EDT)
Thank you, I'll take a look at it later today. Very excited to try this out! --Legoking831 (talk) 14:39, 21 September 2014 (EDT)

Something from WindowsTV

What can you make out of this? I'm not even sure if that exists in the game's resources. --BreakingBenny (talk) 12:01, 23 September 2014 (EDT)

Supper probably would have caught it if it was. I don't plan on looking at the dialogue anytime soon though seeing how Putt Zoo's page has already been mostly covered. --Legoking831 (talk) 12:04, 23 September 2014 (EDT)
Well, I can tell you for sure that clip isn't in the original release of the game. It sounds legitimate, so maybe it's from a rerelease or foreign version? It's worth asking about. Unfortunately. Supper (talk) 17:40, 23 September 2014 (EDT)
That might be why PicoRiveraCalifornia guesses WindowsTV put it in himself...but it's hard to tell, unless we ask the guy who uploaded that clip. He even did a custom-made demo of Pep's Birthday Surprise that could use multi-language dubbing, too! --BreakingBenny (talk) 03:31, 25 September 2014 (EDT)

Lego Island resource extractor

By your request. Like I told you, it's half-broken and really badly written, so don't expect too much out of it. Supper (talk) 18:00, 27 October 2014 (EDT)

Thank you so much. I know it isn't much, but even having the source will probably be enough to help us crack open these files better. Plus, the texture rips actually aren't as bad as you said they were -- it's not masterful or anything, but I was surprised to see how many clean graphics I got out of it. Mind if I share this with others? I'll be sure to credit you. --Legoking831 (talk) 21:56, 27 October 2014 (EDT)
Post it wherever you want, I wouldn't have uploaded it if I didn't want people using it. Supper (talk) 22:00, 27 October 2014 (EDT)

Backyard Baseball pro tunes in Backyard Hockey

Hey Legoking831, I discovered in Backyard Hockey's music files the MLB songs from Backyard Baseball 2003 . Would you please document that when you make the page about the Junior Sports Hockey game? --BreakingBenny (talk) 10:25, 15 January 2015 (EST)

PS: I know you don't appreciate this, but I got Backyard Hockey through the illegitimate way (a.k.a. piracy), I hope that don't bother you as long as no piracy promoting links are given!
Maybe, if I ever make a page. I'm not sure where you felt obligated to mention the fact that you pirated the game; I honestly don't care as long as I'm not being asked to fetch illegal download links. I put those bits in the descriptions because I got incredibly fed up with so many people asking for illegal download links; it's a rule of mine that if I don't own the game, I can't make a video of it, so I feel I have every right to forbid such comments. --Legoking831 (talk) 22:14, 15 January 2015 (EST)

Backyard Hockey has a sound test?

You'll not believe this, Legoking831, but I found what appears to be a "Sound Test" (or more precisely a "Talkie Viewer") inside the data.he of Backyard Hockey. Too bad I'm not good at how Yaga's programming is done, seeing I'm trying to access it from the Options menu... It's kinda interesting how this was after they had the SCUMM engine taken away from them. --BreakingBenny (talk) 16:53, 4 April 2015 (EDT)

Humongous Entertainment Storyboards

I'm digging through Blue's Birthday Adventure and have found a ton of unused storyboards. My question is what program do you use to assemble the storyboard graphics from other HE games into gif format and how? Thanks in advance. --SpongeBat1 (talk) 15:39, 21 October 2018 (EDT)

On second thought, I may have figured out how to do it in Gimp. I just have to figure out how the individual frames are supposed to go together. --SpongeBat1 (talk) 17:00, 21 October 2018 (EDT)

Regarding unused stadiums in Backyard Football

Hello - I'm wondering how you obtained the Dome variant's bitmaps? Was it using HEERip? If so, what command line arguments did you use? I'm struggling to find the images among the 13K extracted. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Skyboxeye (talk • contribs)
