Paper Mario User-page

Hello, there has recently been an edict that user-pages should no longer be used to create "in-progress" articles. This was done because of cases where people would create pages, and never move them to the mainspace because they weren't "finished" yet, or for cases where people created two different versions, and never moved either of them to the mainspace. It was decided that it's better to have articles on the mainspace, even if they're not fully formatted yet, since by doing so they will likely receive the attention they need to be polished up.

Because of that, would you please consider moving your User:Joe/Paper Mario page to the mainspace? If you don't have the time to clean it up and incorporate your page into the main article, you can dump the info on the notes page instead. The important thing is that information should no longer be left on user-pages where no one is likely to see it. Also, please feel free to add a {{tcrf_source}} to any original research you did. We're encouraging anyone and everyone to cite any work they did to make it clear who did what. If you've found something significant and you'd like your name to be displayed ({{tcrf_source}} won't show your name on the rendered page by default, only in the editor), you can always user the old {{source}} tag as well.

Thank you.

Sure, no problem. I'll get it moved over sooner or later. I have a lot to cover, so it could be a few days. --Joe (talk) 09:55, 10 December 2015 (EST)

Hey, I see you're adding stuff about the game's character table on the Notes page. I think someone already did this with the american version of the game. Here's the document. Might not help much, and also I barely understand it, but in the case it's actually useful, here it is. --RanASTC 08:18, 10 December 2015 (EST)

Funny enough, I did use (a more complete version of) that document when I was starting, but it has some mistakes so I'm trying to verify everything. --Joe (talk) 09:55, 10 December 2015 (EST)

Origin of the N64 Madden NFL '99 prototype?

Hi Joe, what's the origin of this prototype that you submitted on the Madden NFL '99 page? Has this been publicly released? Thanks! https://tcrf.net/Proto:Madden_NFL_99_(Nintendo_64)

Paper Mario Japanese text

Hi. How did you rip the Japanese text? --Hiccup (talk) 20:08, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

I wrote a tool to do it. Here's the source code. At one point I was working on supporting the iQue Chinese version too, but I didn't get very far at figuring out how the text is encoded there. --Joe (talk) 20:16, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
Thanks. --Hiccup (talk) 21:35, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
