About extracting the Town With No Name animation data

Hey. I noticed a couple of years ago you were asking about converting The Town With no Names animation formats into .gif files. I was curious if you ever found a way to do it, as I'm trying to so the same thing but haven't gotten anywhere with the arbitrary files. Thanks :) HalfOfBilly (talk) 07:47, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

I don't think I ever managed to find anything that could convert the format to GIF nor any fully functional PC-based software that can even view the format. Which is annoying because it is not even a game-specific format, the files are just standard Deluxe Paint animation files. If you can get the Amiga version of Deluxe Paint working, you can just open the files in it but DPaint can only save to its own formats... :/. TLDR: Sorry, I never found anything that can convert animations to a more modern format.
